In Helen’s book, IF MARY BAKER EDDY’S MANUAL WERE OBEYED, on page 97-a, she has the above picture of Mary Baker Eddy, however, instead of in type where we see her name, as seen above, is found Mary Baker Eddy’s actual signature (as seen directly below). The SCIENCE AND HEALTH books that came out in the 1990s (not put out by The Christian Science Publishing Society) do have her picture and signature in them, as seen below. I accidentally erased the year 1910 so it is missing at the bottom of the title page (i).
Read the rest of this entry »The last season of CW’s Supergirl was basically about SEVEN totem (revered symbol) spiritual attributes, not unlike those of the Third Degree. These seven attributes have been separated and spread out around the earth. Yet, there are SEVEN Super Friends who are trying to collect the seven totems in order to keep a nymph from getting her hands on them and using them for evil, to elevate the First Degree of depravity. The seven totems appear to be material objects, but when a magical word is said the totem turns into a gemstone. The person holding the totem has to perform a gauntlet challenge before the totem will change into a stone (or gem). The totems have qualities like courage, strength, dreams, love, truth, etc.

A corporeal belief; the offspring of error; envy; hatred; selfishness; self-will; lust.” (S&H 589:1) Reuben, the first son, goes out to collect mandrakes for his mother Leah, so that she might conceive again. Rachel, however, makes a deal with her sister, she will let Jacob be with her in return for the mandrakes. Leah hires her husband to be with her and she conceives. Leah says, “God hath given me my hire, because I have given my maiden [given my virginity – this is her “increasing virtue”] to my husband” (Gen 30:18).

I was going to go directly into part 2 yet, I came across a chapter from W. Gordon Brown’s book , CIVILZATION LIETH FOURSQUARE, and felt that it correlated with the Part 1 (now Part 1a) post. I have made editorial changes to Brown’s book where he did not do things right (like with his use of italics) and may make some changes in spelling (not use the British English but American English). {My interpolations will be in this type of bracket.} The following is a list of abbreviations that Brown uses throughout his book:
