Bible Prophecy Fulfilled

The Woman

            “The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.”  “I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.” (Matthew 13:33, 35)

            In Bliss Knapp’s book Destiny of The Mother Church he tells us about how the parable of the woman, told to us by Jesus, was kept secret from the foundation of the world, that it “implies that she was no ordinary woman and that her mission must be unique” (Destiny, p. 185).  His twelfth chapter (that seems to be in synch with Revelation’s twelfth chapter) is about Mary Baker Eddy and how she fulfilled Bible prophecy.  And this is the reason why the Board of Directors did not want his book to be read by Christian Scientists in the late 1940’s and why they really did not want to publish it in the early 1990’s.

CHRISTIANITY AS THE CHRIST – “SCIENCE OF BEING”

CHRISTIAN SCIENCE HEALING

First Edition

Christian Science Healing

Christian Science Healing (with the bearded man and white mantle)

Christ was not crucified — that doom
            Was Jesus’ part;
For Sharon’s rose must bud and bloom
            In human heart.*

Forever present, bounteous, free,
            Christ comes in gloom;
And aye, with grace towards you and me,
            For health makes room.

* “God was manifest in the flesh.” — St. Paul.  {Christ is the manifestation of God.}

Scriptural basis:
            If Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin but the Spirit [God-likeness] is life because of righteousness. St. Paul.

            But such as I have, give I thee:  In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. — St. Peter.

Starflower of Boston – Part 1

            Helen Wright’s book STAR OF BOSTON The Life of Mary Baker Eddy has three sections to it.  Part I is about Mary Baker Eddy fulfilling Isaiah 54, Part II is Atonement and Eucharist: the story of the Second Coming of the Christ as Revelation, and Part III is about Christ and Christmas, an illustrated poem by Mary Baker Eddy.  And finally there is a Conclusion.
            What I would like to talk to you about is Part III of her book.  Helen uses quote excerpts from the writings of Alice Orgain and a manuscript attributed (but never confirmed) to Judge Septimus J. Hanna.  When she quotes from this manuscript she places a question mark after Hanna’s name.  She also gives us some ideas on the topic by John Pawlik, someone she knew.  I have studied Christ and Christmas for years, and am not sure that I agree with everything that Alice Orgain writes upon the topic, but I am open to changing my mind.  And I think that I have done so on Illustration 8 – TREATING THE SICK.  It is explained in Helen’s book that every illustration points to a particular time in Mary Baker Eddy’s life, which is probably so, and so I will try and bring out that point to you, as I do not know if I have succeeded in my past posts on the topic in this respect (or on this topic).  Part 1 is about how Christ and Christmas correlates with the symbols in The First Church of Christ Scientist in Boston.  Parts 2 and 3 have to do with Sharon’s Rose Matrix and its alignment with WINDOW OF THE OPEN BOOK, a Rose Window on the South side of the little edifice in Boston.
            Helen did not include the material written by Doris Grekel (from one of her biographies on Mary Baker Eddy and in some of her pamphlets she used to publish).  This could be because Helen did not have room for everything out there written on Christ and Christmas, for her book is only 257 pages long and Alice Orgain’s two books are WAY bigger!
            I do not know John Pawlik, so I will leave him out of my discussion, because what I want to explain, at this point, is the big difference between the Orgain, Hanna (?), and Grekel ideas on Christ and Christmas.

The Anti-CHRIST

SOCIALISM = COMMUNISM

            In the Blue Book, Notes On Mary Baker Eddy’s COURSE IN DIVINITY; WATCHES, PRAYERS, ARGUMENTS; COLLECTANEA, on page 108, there is a letter written by Mary Baker Eddy, dated January 25, 1897.  One line reads, “You are master of the bad tendencies of Socialism and not at all at their cruel mercies.”  This prayer seems to be what we need today; we need to use these wise words in our Christian Science treatments.  Mary Baker Eddy’s words also prove that socialism (communism) is cruel, in other words, it is not based upon Love (or even love).

Publication by THE CHRISTIAN SCIENCE STANDARD, July 1, 1997

            The only quotation marks in this post will be those marks found in the original publication.  Although this issue is copyrighted (1997) the author, Stanley L. Larkin, is no longer here.  However, the Endtime Center is still up and running.  If any of them have issue with me printing the following then they can let me know and I will withdraw it as a post.  The main reason why I am posting it is because I feel that it is very important to present its message to the world again (over 20 years later).  I have other posts with some of the same material from the article by Mary Baker Eddy.
            {I will use these brackets for any interpolations I may make.}

Prophecy Dreams

Mental Movies from Early March to June 22, 1996

THE BANANA
            I had a mental movie (a dream) where I was feeding my son a banana.  I peeled it open; inside the fruit sprouted another banana.  Then a construction worker came in and took the banana out of my hand and fed it to my mother-in-law.
            To eat a banana by peeling it means that you eat it tail first.  To me this meant that I needed to have demonstrations by depending only upon SCIENCE AND HEALTH WITH KEY TO THE SCRIPTURES by Mary Baker Eddy.  The last chapter of this book is “Fruitage” and it is all about healing testimonies that have taken place to those who read the book only.

THE THREE TABERNACLES – Part 2

CHAPTER 10 (Continued)

                                                         SCIENCE
             THE PARAMOUNT MATRIX (1894) – EARTH*STAR VOYAGER
                                    “THE EDIFICE – MOTHER’S CHURCH
                        “The First Tabernacle—“creation,” (S&H 517:9)

Shadowchurch

            In the drawing above of The First Church of Christ Scientist, in Boston, it stands alone without the Extension.  Notice that there is the dove of divine Science descending down with a detached branch in its beak.  This matches the dove seen in the second drawing for the eleventh Illustration in Christ and Christmas titled THE WAY (seen below is part of THE WAY, as the dove is hard to make out in the full view I have of the Illustration).

            “The (little) Mother Church is the best interpreter of the limitations of ‘Mother.’  It is lighted by {a star with seven points of light, in the skylight of the auditorium (a picture of this skylight is seen further on)} …and the vestibule leading to Mother’s Room (the latter closed in 1908, Nov. 21, 1908, Sentinel), is also lighted by a seven pointed star {which I do not have a picture of}.” (p. 474)

Bird's Eye View

            Above is a drawing I did, several years ago (even before I saw a satellite photo of the Church) of the original Edifice in Boston.  I am not sure I am accurate with the directions in it either (without actually going there and knowing where true North is located at).  The skylight window is oversized.  In the center of the skylight is the seven-pointed Star, like the one seen in the Vestry.  Below is a close up of what Assembly would look like if it had taken place in the Disney movie Earth*Star Voyager.

Assembly

Assembly

            To me the seven points of each star represents the seven synonymous terms for God:  Mind, Spirit, Soul, Principle, Life, Truth, and Love.  At this time I would like to insert a portion of a letter written by David Nolan in 2003 about Mother’s Room.

Linear Progression of Christ and Christmas and Levels of Windows, Pt. 1

The Linear Progression of Christ and Christmas and the Levels of the “Picture Windows” to The First Church of Christ Scientist (Part 1)

     On Saint Patrick’s Day of 2014 I received a manuscript in the mail from a friend of mine.   The author of the manuscript is J. W. S. Cox (a Doorly student).  The first part is about the illustrations of Mary Baker Eddy’s poem Christ and Christmas, which Mr. Cox presents in a linear progression.  The second part is about most of the windows found in The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts. What Mr. Cox presents seems to be correct for the linear progression, however, if we were to analyze the poem and illustrations in the pyramid or circular matrixes then we would come out with a different outcome for the matrix structures.  There is also the graphics in the earlier editions that we must pay attention to.  All of these different ways of looking at the poem book have presented in other posts.

Judge Hanna’s Christ and Christmas – Part 6

MRS. EDDY’S EXPLANATION OF THE ILLUSTRATED POEM “CHRIST AND CHRISTMAS”  AS GIVEN BY JUDGE SEPTIMUS J. HANNA    Part 6

We are now ready to take our fifth step up on the Major Pyramid Matrix of Truth to its apex capstone.  This illustration is different from the rest of the illustrations because it fills the tone of Truth on the Side of Life and the Side of Light.  I feel that the first illustration drawn for the earlier edition may have had an old woman in the bed.  It could be an old man, but I am not sure about it.  I know for sure, after reading Recollections of Mary Baker Eddy by James F. Gilman, that the person in the bed of the first illustration was meant to be a man.  There is no doubt that the later edition is of an old man because he has a beard.  Was the man changed because having a beard meant that he was more seriously ill?  There certainly is more medicine on the table in the later illustration.  Also, the first illustration has a dark mantle on Mary Baker Eddy (as Jesus is depicted having), while in the later illustrations her mantle is white.  On the Side of Life her mantle is black, while on the Side of Light her mantle is white.  I think this is due to the fact that the dark mantle is symbolic of material organization which is bound to the Letter of the Law because man is BELIEVED to be a sinner.  It is this false teaching of scholastic theology that Mary Baker Eddy must heal – the belief  that man has fallen and cannot get up – cannot get to  heaven.  The white mantle, on the other side, symbolizes the spiritual system of Scientific understanding which demonstrates the Spirit of the Law resulting in Christian Science Healing.
