THE THREE TABERNACLES – Part 4

Alice Orgain continues on with this chapter, but basically she is finished with her main discussion of the symbols for the three tabernacle churches.

                        “THE CONCORD BRANCH CHURCH
                        “The Third Tabernacle—“Truth,” (S&H 517:9)

“The Concord Branch Church, as a gift from Mrs. Eddy, illustrates every demand made on Branch Churches as detached from the Mother Vine.  In the front of this Church {on the East Side} is a large round window (similar in shape to the rose windows in The [little] Mother Church) with twelve white pillar divisions encompassing or surrounding a cross and crown as a center.” (p. 526)

Actually, the window is a Rose Window, and there is also a Rose Window found on the Extension’s South Side (and I am guessing there is one on its North Side).  This means that all three “tabernacles” actually have the Unity Matrix found within them.

THE THREE TABERNACLES – Part 1

Chapter X

Once more, I would like to quote from Alice Orgain’s book AS IT IS.  {All of my interpolations will be in this type of brackets.}   [All of Orgain’s interpolations will be in these brackets.]  I will capitalize the BIBLE and SCIENCE AND HEALTH WITH KEY TO THE SCRIPTURES.  I will make some grammatical corrections and change spelling mistakes.  I do not agree with everything that Alice Orgain writes on symbolism and Christian Science, and especially when it comes to America’s early 20th century government, but I wish to present it to you as she has, along side my comments.  I also have come to the conclusion that she is not a very great writer, in that she does not know how to get to the point, she seems to get sidetracked (a lot), so I do not think she gets her point across very well at times.  Either she is a bad writer as I think she is or I am just stupid and do not exactly comprehend what she is trying to say.  I really use to think it was me, but after all these years of study and reading her books, I have come to the conclusion that she just is not a great writer.  If you all tend to disagree with me on this point, let me know.  No hurt feelings.
She gives many references in her book that are not given in her text.  Hopefully you have all the books that you need to look up these statements.  I have not added them to my posts unless I thought it necessary.
I have included pictures that I have to try and help you understand what she is speaking about.  I do not have many pictures of the Extension, but you can see pictures of the Extension in the book Building of The Mother Church, by Joseph Armstrong and Margaret Williamson, published by the Christian Science Publishing Society, available on line or at Christian Science Reading Rooms.  I could not find pictures of some of the things that Orgain was speaking about in Building of The Mother Church.  I have a few pictures (not good color) of the Concord Branch.  Someone who is a member of the Branch sent me the copies I have about ten years ago.
Orgain placed the order of the three tabernacles (churches) in a different order from the order in which they were built.  She chose to place them in her order as following a quote by Mary Baker Eddy:  “The ideal man corresponds to creation, to intelligence, and to Truth.” (S&H 517:8-9)  Her order is:  the original Edifice,  the Extension, and the Concord Branch (time wise, Concord was finished being built before the Extension).  She also correlates these three church tabernacles with the experience three disciples had on the Mount of Transfiguration with Jesus, when they also saw Moses and Elias.  “Let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, one for Moses, and one for Elias.” (Matt. 17:4)
I would like to put these Three Tabernacles in a different order altogether, in order to follow the order of the United Paramount Network, with the symbols of the circle, the triangle, and the square.  So I will begin with the Extension (in Boston) in Part 1, move on to the original Boston Edifice (because its triangular shape embraces the circular Extension, which Alice Orgain totally ignores or is unaware of) in Part 2, and then finally to the Concord Branch Church (square/network shape) in Part 3.

The Twelve Tribes – Part 3

The Sheaf of Wheat Keystone

THE ELEVENTH SON – CHRISTIANITY AS CHRISTIANITY – JOSEPH (“Some Objections Answered”)
“JOSEPH, the eleventh son {seven plus four equals eleven, seven synonyms and the four living creatures make up the system of Science}, was Rachel’s first free born son. {Remember the definition of Dinah/vindicate “to set free”?}  Leah (law) was forced to bear her full weight of responsibility before Love could come to fruitage.  {This full weight or responsibility ended with Dinah.}  Rachel named him Joseph, ‘increase, {extension,}’ thus dividing Love’s indivisible conception, which made Joseph, basic Love (foundation) only.  And as there must be both ‘underlying and overyling’ Love, S&H 496:18-19, this demanded another son.  Mrs. Eddy’s definition, S&H 589:19-22, is ‘Christianity’ only, which is the foundation of ‘Science,’ S&H 269:22-25; My 338:23-29.  Jacob, in Gen. 49:22-26, expresses in the most profuse manner Joseph’s high nature, also calling him ‘the shepherd, the stone of Israel.’  Moses’ Song, Deut. 33:13-17, pours out profuse praises for the richness and abundance—‘increase’—of this thought.  I Chron. 5:1-2, indicates that Joseph received the birthright for all the tribes, showing the superior claim of Love over law.  Jacob, in Gen. 49:26, gives him spiritually all that he has in these words:  ‘they shall be on the head of Joseph and on the CROWN of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.’  Joseph was a crowned head in a foreign country; his kingdom was without the ‘Church’ or the narrow strip of land (the symbol of the ‘straight and narrow way’ of thought) set apart from the unfolding of Church.  Joseph’s grave alone rested there more latterly.” (p. 148-149)
I have Joseph lining up with the Harvested Sheaf of Wheat Keystone.  To me this is interesting when we take on the subject of a crown, which is circular as it is placed upon the round head, and the dream Joseph had about his brothers are around him with sheaves of wheat bowing down to him. (Genesis 37:6-8)  And again his second dream was of the moon, sun, and stars, the stars being his brothers who “made obeisance” to him. (Gen. 37:9)  Both of these dreams were symbols of the Stargate Matrix, yet Joseph (in the first dream) seems to be in the hub, just where I place Dinah.

JUDAS ISCARIOT

In my past posts I have defined the name Iscariot as meaning “dagger”.  However, there are differing opinions on what the name really means.  So I thought that I would give you all the information that I have combined (as of February 12, 2017) so that you can make your own informative decision about the name’s meaning.  Also, in one of my posts, I wrote that I felt as if Iscariot was a nickname being that his father’s name is Simon.  Thus, Judas should have normally been called Judas bar Simon.  Another author who has written about the definition of Iscariot corroborates the idea of it being a nickname.  Perhaps it was even a descriptive name given to him?  [All of my interpolations will be in these type of brackets.]

“Glossary”

What follows is an order that Alice Orgain presents in her book AS IT IS, for Mary Baker Eddy’s 17th chapter in SCIENCE AND HEALTH KEY TO THE SCRIPTURE.  I have written it out a little bit different from how she presents it in her book, but the material is all the same.  All the words in bold are the words defined in the “Glossary” by Mary Baker Eddy.  I would also like to give you the definitions after each grouping is given.
            Some of the definitions have positive (spiritual) definitions and negative (material) definitions.  {All of my interpolations will be in these types of brackets.}
