            Let me first begin with two articles attributed to Mary Baker Eddy in Essays and Other Footprints.  They are both really about the Christ Advents.  These are of importance in understanding why Mary Baker Eddy and Christian Science are so important.  And I feel that to understand what she has written on this subject helps us to understand her place in Bible prophecy, and what she was conveying to us in Christ and Christmas. 

            I will not place quote marks around them.  The first article or essay is found on page 23-24 and the second one is found on page 47-49.

            Mary Baker Eddy wrote a poem, had it illustrated, and titled it Christ and Christmas.  It was released on December 2, 1893.

Chapter 8 – The Third Woe’s Struggle and Peril

The Two Transits of Venus

            Venus, the morning star that Jesus promised to us in Revelation, traversed the sun twice during the first part of the twenty-first century.  By the way, one definition of “measure” is “traverse”.  I mention this because at the end of Chapter 7 I was talking about the second gift (Revelation 11) which is the rod, to measure the Temple and those within the Temple.  We all know that to measure something means to find out how big it is, but to measure can also mean to govern.  So the “rod” governs with divine Science, and the morning star (Venus) and the rod both have to do with divine Science.  But what is it that really governs Christian Scientists besides the Ten Commandments, the Golden Rule, and the Church Tenets?  It is the Church Manual.  So, it is quite possible that the rod given to the man child in Revelation 12 happens to be Mary Baker Eddy’s Church Manual.  This Manual is only obeyed when the estoppel clauses are obeyed and The Mother Church is stopped, in other words it disorganizes!

            Both of the Venus transits took place on Tuesdays.  The first was on June 8, 2004 and the second one was on June 5, 2012.  These two transits, however, point to the third Christ Advent, when generic man (the second Sentinel) is recognized as the woman God-crowned.  But the third and most violent woe takes place after the two transits take place.  This is because error knows that its time is short and is fighting for life.  But error can never have any life, because, God did not create error or evil.  The only life evil and error ever have is the life that mortal minds give it as belief.

THE CLOAK OF CHRIST

            On September 10, 2022, I had a dream about the cloak of Christ and how things were hidden from people because they had not taken off the cloak (or the robe).  However, that is no longer true because of Mary Baker Eddy with her Key to the Scriptures – or the Christian Science Textbook – SCIENCE AND HEALTH WITH KEY TO THE SCRIPTURES.

            I feel that this particular series of posts is of most importance, because on July 16, 2021, we are having the bi-centennial of the Second Coming of Christ, via Mary Baker Eddy.  I hope to meet the deadline and have this series up by that day.

            This series of posts are based upon W. Gordon Brown’s book THAT THE WORLD MAY KNOW.  Some of the words are changed in spelling, as I give you the American spelling over the British spelling.  I also will use italics for book abbreviations.

THE SIXTH DAY OF TRUTH – Part VI

            “It is evident to spiritual sense that as the first part of Mary Baker Eddy’s mission (from 1866 to 1889) is to the second part (from 1892 to 1910), so what might be called the first part of John Doorly’s mission (from 1911 to 1938) is to the second part (from 1938 to 1950).  The Mary Baker Eddy period from 1866 to 1889 founded Christian Science on the sevenfold career of Jesus in which he demonstrated eternal life; the John Doorly mission from 1911 to 1938 revealed, through the symbol of the seven, the orderly footsteps of the very Principle that determined Jesus’ lifework.  The Mary Baker Eddy period from 1892 to 1910 presented Christian Science itself (having been thus founded) as the coming to humanity of the city foursquare; the John Doorly period from 1938 to 1950 concerned the universal workings of the holy city in a way that students had never understood before.  {Likewise, I would first begin to understand the seven and then move on to the four, and fully complete the Holy City Unity (Stargate) Matrix.  In the latter 1990s I did the piece of artwork seen directly below.  I made the pictures as you would see them from OUTSIDE the Church, accept for the words on the two books appear as they would if you were INSIDE the Boston Edifice.  The ARCHER CLOUD is from a vision dream I had before painting the wheel.  The dome was also in the vision dream.  I am not sure that I placed the zodiac symbols in the correct places.  Below this painting is the actual matrix I came up with to go with WINDOW OF THE OPEN BOOK.  I came up with this one a couple years ago.  The lines are not exact because the picture was not taken exactly parallel to the WINDOW.}

THE SIXTH DAY OF TRUTH – Part I

            Gordon W. Brown wrote a book called CIVILIZATION LIETH FOURSQUARE (copyright 1987).  What I want to present to you is CHAPTER III “Christian Science:  Discovery and Founding”.  Mr. Brown presents a seven-day process that Mary Baker Eddy went through during her God-crowned mission.  I do not always agree with Mr. Brown on certain topics (or points), but I do think that he presents a pretty good matrix structure for the whole of human history in accordance with the seven days of Genesis 1-2:3.  He explains that these seven days are not really about the creation of the material world, but rather a period of 7,000 years that begin around 5,000 b.c.  He does not deny that life existed before this time period, but that this is when the time for the BIBLE actually begins.  I tend to agree with him on this point.  We could even say that the BIBLE presents the story of one particular race of people – the Israelites.  The Israelites become the bases for the United States of America where Judaeo Christian faiths are reunited as one people.  When this takes place then the BIBLE story continues on with its Bride – SCIENCE AND HEALTH WITH KEY TO THE SCRIPTURES, by Mary Baker Eddy.
            Brown’s book deals with the seven-day unfoldment of human history for the BIBLE.  Of course, the BIBLE only takes us up to the Fifth Day of Life.  The Sixth Day of Truth begins, to my estimation, in June 0996 and ends on June 5, 1996.  At this point, like in Genesis, there is a mental cut off, for the Six Days of Creation are found in the first chapter of Genesis only while the Sabbath Day (7^th Day) is found at the very beginning of chapter 2 in Genesis.  Likewise, on June 6, 1996 the Seventh Day of Love begins.  But it is the Sabbath Day of Rest not really a day of creation like the other six days.  Yet people still refer to these seven days as the seven days of creation.
            In Brown’s third chapter he explains how Mary Baker Eddy’s mission follows this seven-day process because Truth has the seven tones within it; while the Seventh Day of Love has only two tones – Love as Truth and Love as Love.  These seven tones are the seven synonymous terms for God in Mary Baker Eddy’s fourteenth chapter “Recapitulation” in SCIENCE AND HEALTH WITH KEY TO THE SCRIPTURE.  They are part of her answer to the question “What is God?”  It was Mary Baker Eddy’s God-crowned mission to provide us with these seven names of God in order that the Holy City would descend from heaven and be found on earth within man’s conscious thought (The Kingdom of God is within not without).
            {During this four part series my interpolations will be in this type of bracket when I am quoting from Brown’s book.}  I also make some corrections in italics (for titles of books, etc.) and may make some spelling corrections, even though I often leave the English style spelling instead of changing it to the American style spelling.

            Chapter 16 of Bliss Knapp’s book The Destiny of The Mother Church is titled “Prophecy”.  It begins on page 236 with the picture seen below.  In the top left hand corner, on the Side of Life, there is Jesus and Mary Baker Eddy (there are also other less defined figures in the clouds).  Then with hands in prayer fashion and looking to heaven, more in the center, but near the Side of Light there is the man child.

“The Woman”

            “The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.”  “I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.” (Matthew 13:33, 35)

            In Bliss Knapp’s book Destiny of The Mother Church he tells us about how the parable of the woman, told to us by Jesus, was kept secret from the foundation of the world, that it “implies that she was no ordinary woman and that her mission must be unique” (Destiny, p. 185).  His twelfth chapter (that seems to be in synch with Revelation’s twelfth chapter) is about Mary Baker Eddy and how she fulfilled Bible prophecy.  And this is the reason why the Board of Directors did not want his book to be read by Christian Scientists in the late 1940’s and why they really did not want to publish it in the early 1990’s.
