WHAT DO WE REALLY KNOW ABOUT THE BIBLE?

Before I speak about the difference between the two creation accounts I would like to present to you an excerpt from a book called FROM REVELATION TO GENESIS, written by Englishman, W. Gordon Brown.  In these few pages, beginning on page 10, he explains how the BIBLE came to be written.  (I always capitalize the word BIBLE entirely (unless I am quoting another source) because I feel it points to the importance of the masculine BIBLE over all other books, besides its feminine mate, in the world.)  [In this first section my interpolations will be in this type of bracket.]

FORTY GENERATIONS

– or – SEVENTY-SEVEN GENERATIONS?

In the Book of St. Matthew (which is in the tone of the Word) chapter one presents forty generations from Abraham to Jesus.  This number forty symbolizes the generation of man’s spiritual birth, because a woman is pregnant for forty weeks.  In Matthew the lineage goes only back to Abraham, the first father of the Israelites (in the Third Day of Soul).  The Lord God Jehovah is not the God Almighty that Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob knew.  Yet in the Book of St. Luke (which is in the tone of Christianity) Jesus lineage goes all the way back to Adam (a man of sin) being “the son of God.”  I believe that there is a specific reason for this.  I believe that the Word begins with a spiritual type of manhood (Jesus), while Christianity seems to lead us back to the pure idea or our true being – God.  When this happens we find that we are home in heaven.  Yet perhaps a Bible verse from John 16:28 helps explain the difference between the two lineages of Jesus.  Matthew (the Word) – “I came forth from the Father,” Mark (the Christ) – “and am come into the world again, I leave the world,” Luke (Christianity) – “and go to the Father”.  Mary Baker Eddy tells us, “Science unfolds the eternal verity, that man is the spiritual, eternal reflection of God” (S&H 296:2).

The Trump Cult

Recently mainstream media (the Liberal Press) and the Democrats have been spewing forth propaganda that followers of President Trump are in a cult, that President Trump is a cult leader.
First off I would like to say, that I am willing to accept that I am part of the cult because I understand what the word cult REALLY means!  So, let us examine the word cult in order to educate the mainstream media-Liberal Press and Democrats.
The first thing that Webster’s New Collegiate Dictionary says about cult is as follows:  “[adoration; to cultivate—more at WHEEL].”  Adoration has to do with adoring someone or perhaps some god or even the one God.  So we could say that religions in general could be considered as cults.  What does cultivate mean?  “1:  to prepare or prepare and use for the raising of crops; specif:  to loosen or break up the soil about (growing plants)  2  1:  to foster the growth of  b:  culture  2a  c:  to improve by labor, care, or study:  refine  3:  further encourage  4:  to seek the society of:   make friends with.”[1]  Well, can we accept that the followers of President Trump are farmers?  Some of them are, for sure, but not all of them.  So, let us look to 2a  c’s definition.  Culture is an improvement of mankind through three things – labor, care, and study.  And these things refine (improve, perfect by pruning or polishing; to free from what is coarse, vulgar, or uncouth; to become pure and perfected[2]) mankind.  So, again, being part of a cult seems to be a pretty good thing to me!

Bible Prophecy Fulfilled (continued)

Bible Prophecy Fulfilled (continued)

Chapter 16 of Bliss Knapp’s book The Destiny of The Mother Church is titled “Prophecy”.  It begins on page 236 with the picture seen below.  In the top left hand corner, on the Side of Life, there is Jesus and Mary Baker Eddy (there are also other less defined figures in the clouds).  Then with hands in prayer fashion and looking to heaven, more in the center, but near the Side of Light there is the man child.

Bible Prophecy Fulfilled

The Woman

“The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.”  “I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.” (Matthew 13:33, 35)

In Bliss Knapp’s book Destiny of The Mother Church he tells us about how the parable of the woman, told to us by Jesus, was kept secret from the foundation of the world, that it “implies that she was no ordinary woman and that her mission must be unique” (Destiny, p. 185).  His twelfth chapter (that seems to be in synch with Revelation’s twelfth chapter) is about Mary Baker Eddy and how she fulfilled Bible prophecy.  And this is the reason why the Board of Directors did not want his book to be read by Christian Scientists in the late 1940’s and why they really did not want to publish it in the early 1990’s.

WHAT CAN THE BIBLE TEACH US?

Do Jehovah’s Witnesses Understand What the BIBLE Really Says?
How much do they know about BIBLE history and its writing?  Do they even know or care that there are two distinct creation accounts in Genesis?  One is called the Elohistic Document and it is about the spiritual creation done by Elohim-Shaddai, the second is called the Jehovistic Document and it is about an allegorical creation of a material world and man created by the Lord God Jehovah.  Jehovah is their main God, the one that is most important to the Witnesses.  These two documents were not even written down (into the Torah) until the Jews (not the Israelites) were taken into Babylonian captivity.  Any accounts of creation before this time, as well as stories about the Patriarchs, were handed down through verbal story telling.

HISTORY LESSON

OF…

1943, 1948, 1991, 1995, and 2019

            The following is from Volume 32, #4, summer 2019 THE BANNER by Andrew W. Hartsook.  Before I begin I would like to explain that Bliss Knapp was a personal student of Mary Baker Eddy’s.  He understood who she was and her place in Bible prophecy, and he never forgot it.  Unfortunately, the Board of Directors were not wanting the Truth about Mary Baker Eddy to be published by Knapp.   {My interpolations will be in this type of bracket.}

There Is Only One Christ

I have received comments that I am wrong in stating that Mary Baker Eddy is the Second Coming of Christ, because she stated that Christian Science is the Second Coming of Christ, and that she makes it clear that there is only one Christ.  Am I wrong to state that Mary Baker Eddy, instead of Christian Science, is the Second Coming of Christ?

TAROT CARDS’ SPIRITUAL MEANING

Pamela Colman Smith was the designing artist of the Rider-Waite Deck Tarot Cards.  According to the box that the cards came in she was “under the direction of Arthur Edward Waite”.  They were with the Order of the Golden Dawn and this particular deck came out in 1910.  “Waite was able to restore in great part the original symbolic meanings that had been lost or changed in the passage of time.  There are those who say that the symbols had been deliberately changed, in some cases to throw the Roman Church off the track and prevent the priests from appropriating the Tarot’s verities for their own purposes.”[1]
“The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn was founded in England in 1886 as a result of the discovery and deciphering of some ancient manuscripts on occult initiation.”[2]  I do not pretend to know what this group really did, or how they thought along spiritual lines, but the word “occult” simply means:  “to hide from sight, conceal”[3].  Somehow Tarot and Qabalistic (also Kabalah or Cabala) Symbolism are tied together, and when we come to the Rider Deck, it may be more closely tied together than the average person realizes.  (And I have serious doubts that people who read the cards for fortune telling have the slightest idea what the Cards are really even presenting symbolically.)  What I mean by this is that there is a definite KEY CARD – the Ten (or X) of Pentacles (or Coins).  On this card are ten pentacle coins and they are placed on the card in order to represent the ten Spheres on the Kabalah Tree of Life.  This KEY CARD is useful in understanding the rest of the deck, for with its use you know what is placed on the card is found to be located for a specific sphere or a particular path of the Tree.  So in order to really understand the symbolism of the Tarot one must become familiar with the Kabalah Tree of Life Matrix.  I believe that this would take many years for someone to accomplish!  I have not really wanted to dedicate myself to this particular study, but I do find it quite interesting.
