The Sheaf of Wheat Keystone

            “JOSEPH, the eleventh son {seven plus four equals eleven, seven synonyms and the four living creatures make up the system of Science}, was Rachel’s first free born son. {Remember the definition of Dinah/vindicate “to set free”?}  Leah (law) was forced to bear her full weight of responsibility before Love could come to fruitage.  {This full weight or responsibility ended with Dinah.}  Rachel named him Joseph, ‘increase, {extension,}’ thus dividing Love’s indivisible conception, which made Joseph, basic Love (foundation) only.  And as there must be both ‘underlying and overyling’ Love, S&H 496:18-19, this demanded another son.  Mrs. Eddy’s definition, S&H 589:19-22, is ‘Christianity’ only, which is the foundation of ‘Science,’ S&H 269:22-25; My 338:23-29.  Jacob, in Gen. 49:22-26, expresses in the most profuse manner Joseph’s high nature, also calling him ‘the shepherd, the stone of Israel.’  Moses’ Song, Deut. 33:13-17, pours out profuse praises for the richness and abundance—‘increase’—of this thought.  I Chron. 5:1-2, indicates that Joseph received the birthright for all the tribes, showing the superior claim of Love over law.  Jacob, in Gen. 49:26, gives him spiritually all that he has in these words:  ‘they shall be on the head of Joseph and on the CROWN of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.’  Joseph was a crowned head in a foreign country; his kingdom was without the ‘Church’ or the narrow strip of land (the symbol of the ‘straight and narrow way’ of thought) set apart from the unfolding of Church.  Joseph’s grave alone rested there more latterly.” (p. 148-149)
            I have Joseph lining up with the Harvested Sheaf of Wheat Keystone.  To me this is interesting when we take on the subject of a crown, which is circular as it is placed upon the round head, and the dream Joseph had about his brothers are around him with sheaves of wheat bowing down to him. (Genesis 37:6-8)  And again his second dream was of the moon, sun, and stars, the stars being his brothers who “made obeisance” to him. (Gen. 37:9)  Both of these dreams were symbols of the Stargate Matrix, yet Joseph (in the first dream) seems to be in the hub, just where I place Dinah.

            “Jesus types this thought, the Nazarite—‘separated, set apart, God-crowned.’  This is the ‘Christian’ thought that sustains and blesses man humanly, and brings all the tribes into bondage if not wedded to ‘Science,’ as Joseph’s was not.” (p. 149)
            I disagree with her, I know that Joseph was married to Science.  The following is from an earlier post that has to do with the book of Genesis.
            And Pharaoh called Joseph’s name Zaphnath-paneah; and he gave him to wife Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On.  And Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt. (Gen. 41:44)  Zaphnath-paneah means, “the god has spoken and he who granted life he has (gained a new) life” and “the savior speaks and lives; health of world; savior of the universe; salvation of the age; savior of the dynasty; sustainer of the life of the world.” “Savior of the world,” “Revealer of secrets,” “God speaks and lives,” are the exalted meanings of Joseph’s new Egyptian name.  Remember that Joseph comes to Egypt, and Egypt symbolizes the world or the universe, it is Science that comes to save the universe (world).  Science and Health actually means, “Salvation.”  From this it is clear to understand that Joseph prefigures Christian Science [given to us by the angel of Revelation 10 – Mary Baker Eddy (Michael, Truth)].
            Asenath means, “She is of Neit;[1] dedicated to Neit; favorite of Neit.”  Neit should be Isis, the Egyptian goddess.  And according to Professor Gary A. Rendsburg Asenath means, “the deity of Isis.”  Isis was an early typification of true Womanhood (a woman God-crowned symbol).  She represents the mother of understanding (Manasseh) and will (Ephraim).
            Potipherah means, “he who is given by Ra” and “belonging to Ra; dedicated to the sun.”  He was a priest of On, which means, “Bethshemesh [house[2] of the sun]; Heliopolis; city of the sun; embodiment of light; luminous corporeality; radiating brilliance; the sun; faculty; ability; strength; power of radiation; wealth; substance.”  It is a city in Lower Egypt (which is in the North) and Moses was educated here.  What this really means to me is that Joseph marries himself – the light that is Mind.  And this bright Mind will bring forth (give birth to) the method (his two sons [twin suns]) for a Christian Science treatment.
            “Joseph was sold by Judah for twenty pieces of silver (Gen. 37:26-28) to the Ishmaelites, thence into Egypt.  Jesus was sold by Judas (or Judah), his own tribe, for thirty pieces of silver, Matt. 26:15, into the darkness of the tomb.  Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea practically at Rachel’s tomb, and first acknowledged in Samaria at the well of Sychar (Shechem) which Jacob gave to his son Joseph.  Was not this the living water promised the Samaritan woman?” (p. 149)

            “Shechem and Sychar were the same place, and was not the Samaritan woman’s redemption the redemption of the Dinah thought?  Dinah was defiled by Shechem, the King’s son, from whom Jacob bought the well.  The ‘living waters’ were the purity of man which he revealed to the woman and which she acknowledged as the Christ-man, thereby redeeming Shechem (Sychar) {mortal man bares weight upon his shoulder} and Dinah, Leah’s seventh child {Love}.  This was just a stone’s throw from Joseph’s tomb, and directly between Mt. Gerizim, the mountain from which the blessings were read (Rachel), and Mt. Ebal, the mountain from which the curses were read (Leah).  The reading from both mountains could be heard by the people standing in the ‘narrow way’ between.  So the adulterous woman was given ‘living waters’ between the two, the union of Love and law.  Jesus was a type of Joseph all the way through, redeeming Joseph’s portion, Samaria {Joseph’s Womanhood}, before he could his own, for had not Judah (his tribe) sold Joseph into bondage?  (p. 149-150)
            Notice in the window above that there are two women, not just one.  Who is the second woman?  Is she not the redeemed Dinah, the third coming of Christ (as generic man)?

            “In Christ and Christmas the last picture {THE WAY} shows this tribe in the ascending thought.  The Crown being its limit, and this a man’s crown or the human coronet.  While Mrs. Eddy changed the crown on her books from this human crown to the ‘Celestial Crown,’ {in the} June Journal of 1908, she never removed it from this picture.  Joseph was born before Jacob’s regeneration, the last son of ‘generation,’ but by Rachel, typing Love.  Thus earth was lifted to heaven, preparatory to its final descent in the bosom of Love, ‘regeneration.’  ‘No man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven,’ John 3:13; hence, Joseph’s ‘cross (captivity) and crown,’ in Egypt, the ‘universe,’ as distinguished from the Hebrew nation.
            “Mrs. Eddy’s definition of Joseph presents ‘pure affection’ (‘MORAL’….’affection’—S&H 115:26) ‘blessing its enemies’—‘Christianity’ or Jesus.  This is another reminder of Joseph’s being the prefigure of Jesus, the eleventh tribe, hence Jesus could not hold the twelfth tribe.  The eleventh (Joseph and Jesus) both being sold for money, shows that ‘money’ or divine Love is redeemed by the twelfth tribe.  This was evident in the experience of Mrs. Eddy, which was so contrary to that of Jesus.  Jesus could not ‘gather’ (accumulate) either people or money, only as specifically demanded, as in his wilderness’ experiences of multiplying the loaves and fishes.  Thus Jesus ‘gathered’ specifically for others, but had not ‘where to lay his head.’  Joseph likewise gathered for others but in a foreign land, not in his own country; his sons being forced to travail with the other tribes for their inheritance.  On the contrary, Mrs. Eddy gathered both people (in Church) and substance.
            “(The Zodiacal counterfeit of this tribe is {Aquarius} the ‘Waterman,’—the legs, or House of Friendship—the legs counterfeiting in matter the activity of friendship, or human affection.  {Before continuing on with her next sentence I have to tell you that Aquarius is an “air” symbol, not a water symbol, even though Aquarius is a waterman.}  Mrs. Eddy’s definition of Joseph is, partially, ‘Pure [water types purity] affection blessing its enemies,’ S&H 589:21-22.  Thus the counterfeit is again most assumptive, claiming for body that which belongs wholly to Mind—‘Waterman’; ‘water symbolizes the elements of Mind {the element that is air seems to counterfeit the elements of Mind},’ S&H 507:3.  Webster’s Unabridged Dictionary gives ‘affection’ as a ‘state of kindly feeling’—no physicality in affection.)” (p. 150-151)

            To nullify the counterfeit of mortal legs (columns representing the two side Pillars [Boaz/Severity and Jachin/Mercy] of the Tree of Life[3]) we take Joseph out from the place of Levi (the tone of the Word as Christianity where the Southern Cross of Calvary Keystone is located) and place Joseph under the tone of Christianity as Christianity (where the Harvested Sheaf of Wheat Keystone is placed).
            “Some Objections Answered” is the eleventh chapter (Stargate) of SCIENCE AND HEALTH WITH KEY TO THE SCRIPTURES, by Mary Baker Eddy.   It deals with objections to man’s spiritual being, objections to the Truth that “There is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter.”  I find that most mainstream Christians object to this statement of Truth, the first sentence of the Scientific Statement of Being (S&H 468:9).  This objection is Levi “ecclesiastical despotism”.  Those who object to Christian Science “should consider that the so-called mortal man is not the reality of man” (S&H 347:12). When this is done then the true ARCHER, the one depicted in Revelation 19 (not the off-white horseman found in Revelation 6), is accepted for who SHE really is.  Then all objection flies out the window, for she is “the Word of God” or the BRIDE.  And this white horseman has the Mind of Christ.

            “The strictures on this volume {SCIENCE AND HEALTH} would condemn to oblivion the truth, which is raising up thousands from helplessness to strength and elevating them from a theoretical to a practical Christianity.  {Because this volume is the true Tree of Life.}  These criticisms are generally based on detached sentences or clauses separated from their context.  Even the Scriptures, which grow in beauty and consistency from one grand root, appear contradictory when subjected to such usage.  Jesus said, ‘Blessed are the pure in heart:  for they shall see God’ [Truth].

            “In Christian Science mere opinion is valueless.  Proof is essential to a due estimate of this subject.  Sneers at the application of the word Science to Christianity cannot prevent that from being scientific which is based on divine Principle, demonstrated according to a divine given rule, and subjected to proof.  The facts are so absolute and numerous in support of Christian Science, that misrepresentation and denunciation cannot overthrow it.  Paul alludes to ‘doubtful disputations.’  The hour has struck when proof and demonstration {of Science}, instead of opinion and dogma {Levi}, are summoned to the support of Christianity, ‘making wise the simple.’” (S&H 341:1-342:4)

            “Critics should consider that the so-called mortal man is not the reality of man.  Then they would behold the signs of Christ’s coming.  Christ, as the spiritual or true idea of God, comes now as of old, preaching the gospel to the poor, healing the sick, and casting out evils.  Is it error which is restoring an essential element of Christianity, — namely, apostolic, divine healing?  No; it is the Science of Christianity which is restoring it, and is the light shining in darkness, which the darkness comprehends not.”
            “If Christian Science takes away the popular gods, — sin, sickness, and death — it is Christ, Truth, who destroys these evils, and so proves their nothingness.” (S&H 347:12-25)

The Big Dipper Keystone

            With this Keystone we finish up our third cycle around WINDOW OF THE OPEN BOOK, or the Stargate Matrix.  “BENJAMIN, the twelfth son of Jacob, was born at the cost of his Mother’s ‘life,’ Gen. 35:17-19, and she named him Ben-oni, ‘child of my sorrow.’  But his father called him Benjamin, ‘the son of the right hand {son of my right hand}’ (a further evolution from, and embracing of ‘the right hand,’ Jesus and Joseph)—Jesus sitting on the right hand of the Father, Eph. 1:20.  A ‘son’ is always an evolution in expression beyond the previous position of his mother.  Did not Rachel’s ‘passing’ prophesy the natural ‘half a time,’ Rev. 12:14, of all motherhood?  The spiritual child is ‘without father, without mother, etc.,’ Heb. 7:1-3, co-existent with God!
            “Was not this prophetic of our Mother-in-Israel’s (Mrs. Eddy’s) second child {I am not sure what she means by “second child.”  I think she may be referring to her Church (the congregation) as a whole.} which, like Rachel’s second child, seemed to demand her going to a higher position at its birth?  Because this child does not need a mother; it is in type the male and female idea that must stand alone in its wedded qualities.  Motherhood must advance to Bride so that its offspring may go to a higher quality than ‘child.’  {Like when Sarah died before Isaac met his wife to be.}  ‘I will give in mine house and within my walls [walls of {the} city foursquare] a place and a name BETTER THAN of sons and of daughters:  I will give them an everlasting name {identity} that shall not be cut off,’ Isaiah 56:5.  Child can be separated from parent both in thought and in body, but oneness never.  ‘Principle and its idea is one,’ S&H 465, must be demonstrated by each and everyone of us individually, and collectively (in Church).  Mrs. Eddy says in Miscellaneous Writings 96:  ‘I know not what the person of omnipotence and omnipresence is, …therefore, I worship that of which I can conceive, first as a loving Father and Mother; THEN, as thought ASCENDS the scale of being to DIVINER consciousness, God becomes to me, as to the apostle who declared it, ‘God is Love’—divine Principle.’  So Benjamin must become one with Principle.  Was not ‘Mother,’ as our Leader, relied upon for everything by her Child, both in and out of the ‘wilderness’?  Even after she had said, ‘Error is unreal and OBSOLETE,’ 2nd edition of 1909, did not the Child drag her back into the controversy that took her from this position, as evidenced by the correspondence from November, 1909 to January, 1910, My 359-362.  Would the Child do his work so long as Mother was here, or will he ever do it until he releases Mother?” (p. 151-153)
            The pages she speaks about have to do with Augusta E. Stetson and the First Church of New York City.  But who was dragging whom?  There seem to be two sides of the story.  The material organization claims that Augusta Stetson was evil (so they excommunicated her) while Augusta Stetson claims that she was to leave the material organized church in order to build upon Spirit, to build the spiritual Church.  She did not believe that Mary Baker Eddy wrote certain letters to her.  If this is true, we must ask who did write them?  Would it have been Mary Baker Eddy’s secretary, Adam Dickey?  Whose bidding was Adam Dickey really doing?  Was he being disobedient to Mary Baker Eddy and obeying the Levite Board of Directors?  He did admit to being disobedient to her in regards to the book he wrote, which he had promised her he would do, because he prolonged writing it and having it published for so many years.
            “So Benjamin was forced to release his Mother, and, in the endeavor to unfold law as separate from Love, Judges chapters 19 to 21, it seemed that he ruled Love, or woman, so completely out of his experience that a wholly false sense of man, or law, became evident.  For man and law are forever embraced in Love, and he was Love’s offspring.” (p. 153)
            Benjamin (Jacob’s son).  A physical belief as to life substance, and mind; human knowledge, or so-called mortal mind, devoted to matter; pride; envy; fame; illusion; a false belief; error masquerading as the possessor of life, strength, animation, and power to act.  {This sounds like material organized church to me.}
            “Renewal of affections; self-offering; an improved state of mortal mind; the introduction of a more spiritual origin; a gleam of the infinite idea of the infinite Principle; a spiritual type; that which comforts, consoles, and supports.” (S&H 582:4-13)
            “It is very interesting to take Mrs. Eddy’s definition of Benjamin, S&H 582, statement by statement, to see upon what it is based as a tribe; as Benjamin had no personal history other than the record of his birth, and his entrance into Egypt at his brother Joseph’s demand, Gen. 43.  The following may be helpful in tracing the tribe to its final fulfillment:  S&H 582, lines 4 and 5 to second semi-colon, Gen. 35:17-19; from first semi-colon line 5 to next semi-colon, Judges 19th to 21st chapters; line 6 from first semi-colon to second semi-colon line 7, 1st Samuel 13:8-14; line 7 from second semi-colon to end of line 8, 1st Samuel 18:3-4; 1st Samuel 19:11-17, showing that Saul’s children deserted him for David, etc.[4]  Line 9 to second semi-colon, 1st Kings 12:20-21—here Benjamin became absorbed in the tribe of Judah and lost all identity as a tribe, ‘Renewal of affections; self-offering.’  Jerusalem was the capitol of Benjamin and not of Judah, and inasmuch as ‘Christian Science’ as ‘Elias’ must ‘restore all things,’ S&H 583, this capitol city must yet be restored in the year of Spiritual Jubilee, Lev. 25.  Paul was a Benjamite and so the next line 10 from semi-colon to first semi-colon line 11, Gal. 1:15-16; from first semi-colon, line 11 to second semicolon—Paul’s scintillations of light in his writings; line 12 from second semi-colon to end of definition—The Comforter—‘that which COMFORTS, consoles and SUPPORTS’—comfort is the descending idea; supporting, the ascending idea; and consolation the human blessing between.  Of course, higher thoughts may be drawn from this definition, but this correlation is a mere suggestion that has been helpful in connection with the Scriptures.
            “Mrs. Eddy’s original definition in the sixth edition of SCIENCE AND HEALTH, 1883 to 1886, gave the latter portion of the definition of Benjamin from line 9 as ‘Renewal of affection, self-offering.  A redeemed body [‘redemption of the body’—Romans 8:23], the reflection of a more spiritual mind.  The INFINITE IDEA of infinite Principle, the spiritual shadow of Spirit-substance, that which is constituted of Soul, and not sense, yea, the reflection of Deity.’  (Vol. II. 1883-1891 editions of SCIENCE AND HEALTH for eight years).  This has been copied from the sixth edition, 1883 (first in which “Glossary” appeared), which was unchanged up to 1886, when it was punctuated a little differently, but the wording was the same up to 1891.  This certainly made Benjamin embrace all the other tribes, as ‘the INFINITE IDEA of Infinite Principle.’  Mrs. Eddy undoubtedly saw when she gave us the city foursquare that this definition must be changed to (in substance) the ‘Comforter,’ as Benjamin as a tribal concept was not infinite, and the city foursquare must have its twelfth tribal gate to complete the Word as Bride, or city foursquare, Rev. 21st chapter, before it could become one infinite idea, as in the tree of life, Rev. 22nd chapter.  Nevertheless Benjamin is the infinite idea embracing all ideas.  When the city foursquare was revealed, Benjamin (typed by Mrs. Eddy as Word) became the Bride embracing the Twelve Tribes; as Motherhood had in spiritual promise only, but without the human expression—earth, as ‘compound idea,’ S&H 585:8.  To make Benjamin ‘THE INFINITE IDEA,’ as Mrs. Eddy did, as before noted, from 1883 to 1891 in Motherhood, would leave no place for the city foursquare, as Bride.  Is not this the mistake we are making by holding to ‘Motherhood’ in Church when the city foursquare as Bride has been revealed as ‘the spiritually organized Church,’ {what Augusta Stetson was trying to build}? …Mrs. Eddy’s position in presenting Benjamin first as ‘The infinite idea’ was not a mistake, but the necessary limitation of evolutionary process up to the final evolution; which we now have, and so are without excuse.  Her definition of Benjamin was right for the time, as Benjamin was both heaven and earth—Jacob, Gen. 32:24-32—and Benjamin’s birth was not recorded until Genesis 35:17-19, in Bethlehem of Judea where Jesus was born.  Benjamin’s birth is said to have been ten years after the birth of Joseph.  …Paul, the Benjamite, was a glimpse of the manhood of the descending idea as demonstrated by Jesus and revealed to Paul as a descending idea after Jesus’ ascension.  The tribe of Benjamin was silenced from the time of the division of the kingdoms under Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, until Paul’s vision, Acts 9, of which he speaks in Gal. 1:15-23.  So his vision was not from man but from above; however, he put his vision under law and refused to tell it, II Cor. 12:4, and appealed to Caesar as a Roman citizen when he was told his ‘life’ was in jeopardy, Acts 25:11.[5]  Festus said, ‘This man might have been set at liberty, if he had not appealed unto Caesar.’  It was Paul’s resistance to ‘circumcision’ for the Christian Jew and Gentile as a symbol after the idea had been revealed—as in Gal. 5:1-6 that cost him his ‘life,’ S&H 564:29-31.
            “It in no sense detracts from the marvel of Paul’s revelation that he could not see higher in human demonstration than to glory in infirmities and imprisonment (“I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, etc.”) and yet, as Mrs. Eddy suggests on p. 73, Miscellaneous Writings, we lay the effects of our violation of law on God, and say, ‘He knoweth we have need of experience,’ as Paul did owing to his limitation of demonstrable vision.  Did not Jesus cry out, ‘My God, my God, why has thou forsaken me?’ and ‘I thirst,’ when he had told the Samaritan woman at the well that he could give her ‘living waters’ which would prevent her from ever thirsting again?  Is not this the experience of all unselfish work to the end of helping others, which pulls us below our individual revelation?  Jesus could have ascended as Elias did, — ‘I have power to lay down my life and power to take it again; no man taketh it from me,’ said Jesus; Paul could have gone on with his vision, II Cor. 12:2-4, and did not Mrs. Eddy suggest such a course was open to her {when she said,} ‘If the students still continue to think of me and call upon me, I shall at last defend myself and this will be to cut them off from me utterly in a spiritual sense by a bridge they cannot pass over.’[6]  Was not this an expression of Mrs. Eddy’s ability to ascend above the struggle?  We must remember that this was in her man-Angel vision, and the tendency of manhood is to ascend, as evidenced by Enoch, Elijah, Moses (?), and it was Jesus’ constant tendency.  But when one unselfishly elects to bear the sins of the world in an endeavor to save it and finds moments of anguish expressed in cries, ‘My God, my God, why has thou forsaken me,’ ‘I thirst,’ etc., the very ones for whom the struggle is made mock the struggle as an evidence of weakness and inconsistency—not realizing that the attempt to save others places all problems and struggles beyond individual responsibility—it is a constant exploring of the way and ‘trying of the spirits.’  The cry is never for oneself but for others and the darkness always for another’s sake.  So Jesus, Paul and Mrs. Eddy, as the three Benjamin thoughts in intent and endeavor—to unite both heaven and earth—suffered and cried out for others, for Benjamin is a universal idea.
            “The ‘Glossary’ presents all the tribes {only seven sons are defined as “Jacob’s son.”} as the sons of Jacob but two—Judah and Joseph, thus implying that they are the sons of God.  Why?  Because Joseph was born of Rachel typing Love, and Judah, when Leah turned wholly from man and said, ‘Now I will praise the Lord’—this being the meaning of Judah—‘Praise the Lord.’  While Benjamin was called Jacob’s son in the ‘Glossary,’ he was born after Jacob’s regeneration, (Gen. 32:24-32.  Benjamin’s birth being recorded, Gen. 35:17-19, in Bethlehem of Judea, Jesus’ birth place).  Thus Benjamin typed the regeneration of earth and was the only son of regeneration, and as such embraced the twelve thrones spoken of by Jesus as the promise of regeneration, Matt. 19:28—‘generation’ is the twelve individual types of tribes; regeneration, the generic sense of twelve in one—the Bride, the city foursquare {divine Science}.
            “To summarize:  This was the only tribe ‘changed’ (as before noted) after they were given us; and that in the same edition as the city foursquare, thus showing an analogy thereto.  It, as infinite idea, brought forth the ‘man child’ from its infinitude in the edition in which we were given the woman bringing forth the man child (the first in which ‘The Apocalypse’ was given us, but without the city foursquare)—Benjamin was given as ‘THE infinite idea of infinite Principle; THE spiritual shadow of Spirit-substance; THAT which is constituted of Soul; THE reflection of Deity,’ 16th edition 1886, p. 529, to 50th edition in 1891.  Woman’s ‘man child’ was ‘caught up unto God and to his throne,’ Rev. 12:5—embraced in Womanhood, after the pattern and process of our ‘Lord’s Prayer,’ S&H p. 16—‘Our Father which art in heaven,’ is interpreted as ‘Our Father-Mother God, all harmonious’; in other words, Our Father embraced in Mother, as in ‘Glossary,’ 586 and 592, wherein Mother is the full trinity embracing Father as Life and Principle.  So the ‘man child’ was wedded, Rev. 19:7-9, to the Bride (whose wedding garments, ‘clean and white,’ are the righteousness of individual saints (recorded in the BIBLE).  These saints as the armies of heaven (the specific conquering thoughts in the redemption of the tribes to true idea, who all follow the Word of God as embracing all of them) descend in the embrace of the Bride, Word, as the city foursquare, preserving their specific identity as twelve pearly {Star}gates, so long as the city has walls.  Then their identity is presumed as the twelve unending fruits of Principle and Love as abstractly wedded in Rev. 22:2, when the city expands from ‘the city foursquare {divine Science}’ on p. 575 of SCIENCE AND HEALTH to ‘the city of our God {Christian Science},’ on p. 577, which has no ‘boundary nor limit’ (walls), but four ‘cardinal points {the infinite divine calculus}.’  The city foursquare descended, Rev. 21, as the Bride {divine Science}, embracing and wedded to the man child {Christian Science}, Rev. 19.  ‘Principle and its idea is one,’ S&H 465;17:  ‘Thy maker is thine husband’ (or wife—Isaiah 54). (p. 153-159)
            In her next paragraph (after the one above) she speaks about Paul and the New Jerusalem, because Jerusalem was a capitol of Benjamin (and Paul was of the tribe of Benjamin).  This New Jerusalem that “comes down from God out of heaven must be the true idea of this capitol” (p. 159).  In thinking upon this subject, it is interesting how the sunflower that surrounds SCIENCE AND HEALTH in WINDOW OF THE OPEN BOOK relates to this capitol city – a New Jerusalem artichoke (sunflower).  This is what I designed my matrix upon (seen below) that is based upon the twenty-four question/answer sections of the fourteenth chapter “Recapitulation.”  This sunflower gives us Benjamin as an “introduction of a more spiritual origin; a gleam of the infinite idea of the infinite Principle”.


            “Jacob said of Benjamin:  ‘Benjamin shall ravin as a wolf:  in the morning, he shall devour the prey, and at night, he shall divide the spoil,’ Gen. 49:27.  {Again, this sounds like material organized church.}  This was the history of the tribe, animality in the first stages, Judges ch. 19-21, although the type is unmistakable—the endeavor to demonstrate manhood or law in matter instead of Spirit.  He was the type of the union of both heaven and earth and suffered greatly on earth as he must accept the demonstration of earth from Leah (Judah), as a gift and not a labor, hence the loss of his working identity until Shiloh came.” (p. 159-160)
            To me Shiloh is a reference to the Seventh Day of Love, because Shiloh means, “rest, peace, etc.”
            “There was no specific history of Benjamin, as previously noted, as Benjamin is never specific; but the history of his tribe is, of course, his history, as whatever is derived from a given source is the outcome of active or latent qualities or ‘forces’ in its source.  This is true of all the tribes, and true in spite of the fact of their marriages and their children as the offspring thereof.  As marriages are based on the claims of lack, and supply only the claim; in other words, they are counterfeited ‘compound’ idea, S&H 577:4-11, counterfeiting the original completeness in each factor, but claiming it as two persons instead of two elements, S&H 57:8-14 and 577:4-11.
            “The Astrological sign for Benjamin, the twelfth tribe is Pisces, the two crossed fish {the early Christian symbol for the Christ}, the House of Enemies, representing the feet.  Mrs. Eddy speaks of feet in the following manner:  ‘Its feet are pillars of fire, foundations of Truth and Love,’ S&H 558:16-17.  As Church is ‘the structure of Truth and Love,’ S&H 583, and feet are the ‘foundations of Truth and Love,’ is the evident that Church ‘rests upon’ such ‘feet.’” (p. 160)

            Let us also take into consideration the bare feet seen in only two Illustrations of Christ and Christmas.  In CHRISTIAN UNITY the bare feet of Jesus and Mary Baker Eddy are depicted (the Left Foot of Mary [Truth] seen above).  Only the toes of Jesus’ left foot are seen, while Mary Baker Eddy’s whole left foot is visible.  Only the back heal and toes of Mary Baker Eddy’s right foot are visible (in back of her left foot, even though it is hard to make out as seen above).  Then in TRUTH versus ERROR we see the right foot (only the big toe on the left foot is really depicted) of the woman who is knocking on the door (the Right Foot of Martha [Love] seen above).  What is Mary Baker Eddy’s purpose behind this symbology?
            We go to the above cited quote from “The Apocalypse” about the angel’s two feet.  “Its feet are pillars of {baptismal} fire, foundations of Truth and Love.  It brings the baptism of the Holy Ghost, whose flames of Truth {Michael’s flames of Truth} were prophetically described by John the Baptist as consuming error.
            “This angel had in his hand ‘a little book,’ open for all to read and understand.” (S&H 558:16-559:2)
            Let me stop here for now, and let us examine this last sentence.  Where in Christ and Christmas is the “little book open”?  There is only one Illustration, number 7 (Love) where we see the girl sitting underneath the light of Venus, the morning star, and she is reading (spiritually understanding) SCIENCE AND HEALTH KEY TO THE SCRIPTURES, by Mary Baker Eddy (Michael).  In this Illustration the girl’s two feet are crosses, her left foot (Michael – Truth) is in front.  It leads her right foot (Gabriel – Love).

            The scroll (book of Christian Science – the city of our God) in CHRISTIAN UNITY is unrolled (open) while the scroll (book of Truth – divine Science) in TRUTH versus ERROR is mostly rolled up, not quite open.  I believe that the girl we see in Illustration 7 (“SUFFER [PERMIT] THE CHILDREN TO COME UNTO ME.”) is the same girl depicted looking out the window in TRUTH versus ERROR.  The reason why the scroll below is only partially open is because the girl must first comprehend that she is the woman who is knocking on the door, the woman is her Christ consciousness.

            “…Did this same book contain the revelation of divine Science, the ‘right foot’ or dominant power of which was upon the sea—upon elementary, latent error, the source of all error’s visible forms?” (S&H 559:2-6)
            TRUTH versus ERROR has the partially opened scroll of TRUTH in the woman’s hand.  This woman is knocking on the girl’s conscious thought.  It is her right foot that we see clearly.  In this Illustration the girl is wedded to her own manchild (the boy she embraces).  The Stranger knocking on the door was originally seen, by her, to be her Leader Mary Baker Eddy (as seen below).

TvE (A)            But as she began to spiritually understand her own true mission (the third coming of Christ) she saw the woman knocking on the door as her own self (generic man).  She is Gabriel (Love), born toward the end of the Sixth Day of Truth, yet her God-crowned mission began at the beginning (on June 6, 1996) of the Seventh Day of Love.  She is the “successor” Mary Baker Eddy spoke of (who was not on earth in 1901, not yet born).  Now, we go back to CHRISTIAN UNITY, and the left foot.
            “…The angel’s left foot was upon the earth; that is, a secondary power was exercised upon visible error and audible sin.  The ‘still, small voice’ of scientific thought reaches over continent and ocean to the globe’s remotest bound.  The inaudible voice {a voice that you read} of Truth {Michael – Mary Baker Eddy} is, to the human mind, ‘as when a lion {the Word} roareth.’  It is heard in the desert and in dark places of fear.  It arouses the ‘seven thunders’ of evil, and stirs their latent forces to utter the full diapason of secret tones.  Then is the power of Truth demonstrated, — made manifest in the destruction of error.  Then will a voice from harmony cry:  ‘Go and take the little book. …Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.’  Mortals, obey the heavenly evangel {Mary Baker Eddy}.  Take divine Science.  Read this book from beginning to end.  Study it, ponder it.  It will be indeed sweet at its first taste, when it heals you; but murmur not over Truth, if you find its digestion bitter.  When you approach nearer and nearer to this divine Principle, when you eat the divine body of this Principle, — thus partaking of the nature, or primal elements, of Truth {the left foot} and Love {the right foot}, — do not be surprised nor discontented because you must share the hemlock cup and eat the bitter herbs; for the Israelites of old at the Paschal meal thus prefigured this perilous passage out of bondage into the El Dorado[7] of faith and hope[8].” (S&H 559:6-31)
            We have come to the last counterfeit astrological sign that “counterfeits the foundation of Church, which even Astrology approaches in a descending manner—the first shall be last and the last shall be first, Matt. 19:30.  ‘The House of Enemies’—the BIBLE promises that the enemies of the Christ-idea shall be made its ‘footstool,’ Matt. 22:44, and this is fulfilled only when we can see ‘the Son of man which is in heaven,’ John 3:13, in all earthly conditions—neither ‘ascended’ nor ‘descended’—such is the promise of Benjamin, to which matter asserts a claim in this sign—the two crossed fish, — the spiritual cross-purposes when heaven and earth are separated in our ‘human footsteps’—which should be ‘Footsteps of Truth,’ {Asher, the Christ as Science tone} as Mrs. Eddy has characterized the human footsteps in SCIENCE AND HEALTH.  ‘The more I understand humankind the more I see it to be sinless—as ignorant of sin as is the perfect Maker,’ Un 49:8-9.” (p. 160-161)
            In order to nullify Pisces erroneous influence over Benjamin we must translate Benjamin back to God and place him under Virgo – in the right tone, Christianity as Science; where we have the Big Dipper Keystone, made up of seven Star-Flowers, each having six points of light.  This is where we have the twelfth chapter of the Textbook “Christian Science Practice”.  At the beginning of the chapter Mary Baker Eddy brings out the story of Jesus at Simon the Pharisee’s house and where a woman enters unannounced.  Most Christian’s presume that this woman is Mary Magdalene, but it is more likely that she is Mary of Bethany, sister to Lazarus and Martha.  It is also, more than likely, that Simon the Pharisee is Judas Iscariot’s father.  Remember that Peter’s real name was Simon, and that he is referred to as Simon Peter.  Thus, Iscariot is probably a nickname rather than a birth name to Judas, as Judas’ real name was probably Judas bar Simon, meaning Judas son of Simon.
            “Why did he {Jesus} thus summarize her {the woman’s} dept to divine Love?  Had she repented and reformed, and did his insight detect this unspoken moral uprising?  She bathed his feet with her tears before she anointed them with the oil {Virgo}[9].  In the absence of other proofs, was her grief sufficient evidence to warrant the expectation of her repentance, reformation, and growth in wisdom?  Certainly there was encouragement in the mere fact that she was showing her affection for a man of undoubted goodness and purity, who has since been rightfully regarded as the best man that ever trod the planet.  Her reverence was unfeigned, and it was manifested towards one who was soon, though they knew it not, to lay down his mortal existence in behalf of all sinners, that through his word and works they might be redeemed from sensuality and sin.
            “Which was the higher tribute to such ineffable affection, the hospitality of the Pharisee or the contrition of the Magdalen?  {“Mary Magdalene, as she has since been called” is what Mary Baker Eddy says about the “woman” in S&H 362:11.  She does not stipulate that the woman actually is Mary Magdalene.}  This query Jesus answered by rebuking self-righteousness and declaring the absolution of the penitent.  He even said that this poor woman had done what his rich entertainer had neglected to do, — wash and anoint his guest’s feet, a special sign of Oriental courtesy.[10]
            “Here is suggested a solemn question, a question indicated by one of the needs of this age.  Do Christian Scientists seek Truth as Simon sought the Saviour, through material conservatism and for personal homage?  Jesus told Simon that such seekers as he gave small reward in return for the spiritual purgation which came through the Messiah.  If Christian Scientists are like Simon, then it must be said of them also that they love little.
            “On the other hand, do they show their regard for Truth, or Christ, by their genuine repentance, by their broken hearts, expressed by meekness and human affection, as did this woman?  If so, then it may be said of them, as Jesus said of the unwelcome visitor, that they indeed love much, because much is forgiven them.” (S&H 363:24-364:31; infuses added {My interpolations.})
            This twelfth chapter of the Textbook has a mental case on trial, where a man is charged with having “committed liver complaint.” (S&H 430:18-19)  “Personal Sense is the plaintiff.  Mortal Man is the defendant.  False Belief is the attorney for Personal Sense.  Mortal Minds, Materia Medica, Anatomy, Physiology, Hypnotism, Envy, Greed and Ingratitude, constitute the jury.  The courtroom is filled with interested spectators, and Judge Medicine is on the bench.” (S&H 430:20-26; Mary Baker Eddy used capitol letters in her allegory for the “Court of Error” terms, like Mortal Man, Mortal Minds, etc., because they are used as names.)
            As President Donald Trump would say, “the court is rigged!”  But after “much debate and opposition, permission is obtained for a trial in the Court of Spirit {the Supreme Court}, where Christian Science is allowed to appear as counsel for the unfortunate prisoner.  Witnesses, judges, and jurors, who were at the previous Court of Error are now summoned to appear before the bar of Justice and eternal Truth.
            “When the case for Mortal Man versus Personal Sense is opened, Mortal Man’s counsel regards the prisoner with the utmost tenderness.  The counsel’s earnest, solemn eyes, kindling with hope and triumph, look upward. (S&H 434:8-19)

C&C-C.S. Heal (B)            “…Then Christian Science turns suddenly to the supreme Tribunal, and opens the argument for the defense…” (S&H 434:19-21)  Christian Science wins the case and the man goes free.
            Finally this twelfth chapter ends with “Christian Scientists, be a law to yourselves that mental malpractice cannot harm you either when asleep or when awake.” (S&H 442:30)
            Alice Orgain’s chapter continues on from pages 161-202.  Her next big section throughout these pages is titled THE TWELVE TRIBAL GATES AS DAYS OF CONSCIOUSNESS.  For now I leave us ending on page 161.

[3] In Masonry the two pillars outside a door of passage are symbolic of a woman’s two legs, for when she gives birth the baby passes through these two legs.  The Masons do not see this as material birth, however, they see it more as how Jesus put it, that they must be born again, they see that they are being spiritually born, passing through the legs (pillars) into a new consciousness.  The word new means “original” so a new consciousness would really be one’s original consciousness, which is always spiritual consciousness.

[7] El Dorado is a city of gold, thus, it symbolizes the Christ city or Christ consciousness.  It represents the divine, the Third Degree. (S&H 116)

[8] Faith and hope are two qualities (of Life) for the Second Degree. (S&H 115)  So, with “faith and hope” and El Dorado we have a human and divine coincidence.  So we pass out of material life, the beliefs of mortal mind, into our human and divine coincidence.

[9] I say that Virgo (the virgin) is the oil, as the five wise virgins represent the five words that Mary Baker Eddy defines as oil in the “Glossary,” p. 592:25.  “Oil.  Consecration; charity; gentleness; prayer; heavenly inspiration.”

[10] Since the word orient means “east” we can take this to mean that it is a custom of the Christ to wash a guest’s feet (the feet of Truth and Love?).
