The Star of Bethlehem Flower and the Ark Keystone
On November 11, 2014 I noticed something that I had never seen before, even though it was right there in front of my eyes! What I realized is that there are flowers in the painted windows of the original Boston Edifice and these flowers represent stars. On November 12, 2014 I looked up white flowers and found the Star of Bethlehem (Hyacinthaceae Ornithogalum umbellatum) and knew that it was a match to the flowers in the windows, even though they only have six petals while the Star-Flowers in the windows have seven petals for the seven synonymous terms for God: Mind, Spirit, Soul, Principle, Life, Truth, and Love. It also occurred to me that these flowers were used in the Christ and Christmas matrix (which I call Sharon’s Rose Matrix) that was made by Ingeborg Tillisch Kelley in 1971 for “The New Story of Christ.” Seen below is a picture showing part of this matrix. The twelfth petal has, what I think to be, seven Star of Bethlehem flowers on it (each flower having seven petals). Kelly says that this flower was “inspired by” a Rose Window in the Concord Branch church that was described in Alice L. Orgain’s pamphlet, The Tree of Life. The following is from Kelly’s work and ‘quotes’ from Orgain’s work.
“‘Over twenty-two years ago my book AS IT IS described on page 551 the central medallion placed above the two lateral transept windows in the Concord Branch Church….In the center of the Church medallion appears a large conventional symbol of a flower, conjoined with fruit – the flower symbolizing the prophecies of the Bible and the fruit, their fulfillment, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.’ [I am not sure if the picture that is directly below is the actual flower she is speaking of as it only has four petals. I found other California Star-flowers but they were white not yellow, as seen below the yellow flower.]
“In the center of this new illustration appears a five-petaled California star-flower. In its center is a pomegranate showing the quadrant seeds signifying ‘the seed within itself’. The California star-flower is yellow, the pomegranate core is a pink hue, with her seeds a deep, deep red. The red seeds stand for Mind, the yellow for Soul. These symbols represent: one, the translated five stars on Woman’s crown as the only five-petaled flower or star, or the Soul office of absolute divine Science; and, two, its masculine operation as divine cybernetics or the seed-plot of universal consciousness, Mind, as Science itself.
“‘…encircling the central flower and fruit are four detached empty petals, typical of the four cardinal points (“Science and Health”, 577:12-19), representing the four dissipated walls of the Branch Churches.’
“In the new illustration, at the four cardinal points of the dissipated walls of the City foursquare, denoting the natural inherent operation of the infinite calculus, are the California woodland star-flowers.” She goes on in further detail of her design, and it is her translation, however, I do not feel that she is correct about the divine infinite calculus symbols that she uses. She does quote more of Orgain.
“Encircling these four petals as another step are twelve separated petals in each of which is a bright green leaf, symbolizing the leaves of the Tree of Life in thirteen, which were ‘for the healing of the nations’ – this Tree bearing but ‘twelve manner of fruits’…These twelve separated petals are, in turn, encircled by fourteen separated petals, each of the latter taking to itself the entire centralized figure of the conjoined flower and fruit. This figure within each of the fourteen petals typifies a wholly spiritualized consciousness, it is equivalent to generic Love (symbolized by the blank circle int he last picture window in the balcony of the original Mother Church) that will ever lead its individual possessor throughout all Branch Churches. This too late Belshazzar ‘handwriting on the wall’ (Dan 5) was a warning that collective Church must yield to individual attainment. It illustrates Mrs. Eddy’s line in Science and Health, p. 506: ‘God opens the petals of a holy purpose in order that the purpose may appear.’…When the fiftieth Edition appeared in 1891, there had been no visible church organization since 1889 other than that of the Branch Churches, which grew from the invisible roots of spiritual Motherhood. Isaiah prophesied: ‘And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots,’ Isaiah 11:1 and thus the Branches grew without rod or stem of visible Motherhood, for many were formed during this interim between visible organizations in Boston, in addition to those already created before the dissolution of the other forms of organization.’ (Progressive Revisions of Science and Health, ibid., p. 48.)” Below is a picture of what I think Alice Orgain may have been describing.
The flower, of course, has the same exact name as one of the windows in Mother’s Room.
The same Star-Flower is found in all three panels of (what I call) the Bay Window in Mother’s Room.
Since Mary Baker Eddy said that the Star of Bethlehem is also the Star of Boston, then it is simple to understand that the Star-Flower symbolizes the three advents of Christ as Jesus, Mary, and Martha (these are the three names that Mary Baker Eddy gave in regard to the three advents). At least that is how I would have looked at it a month ago! Now, perhaps it is more likely that the Star-Flower in the Star of Bethlehem panel really represents the conscious thought of the Virgin Mary who conceived Jesus as the masculine representative of Christ. If so, then it is also possible that the Star-Flower in the center panel represents the conscious thought of Mary Baker Eddy who conceived Science and Health with Key to the Scripture. Finally, the Star-Flower in “Suffer the Children” represents the conscious thought of Martha Jones-Smith who conceived the Independent Christian Science Branch (which must bud and bloom into Sharon’s Rose).
There is only one place that Mary Baker Eddy speaks about Sharon’s Rose (a different flower altogether) and that is in Christ and Christmas. She writes for the capstone illustration #6 (CHRISTIAN SCIENCE HEALING) –
“Christ was not crucified–that doom
Was Jesus’ part;
For Sharon’s rose must bud and bloom
In human heart.*”
And underneath the poem verses we have her footnote: *”God was manifest in the flesh.”–St. Paul.
Even though the Star-Flowers are Star of Bethlehem flowers could they not be speaking about the Christ advents of Christ Jesus (Virgin Mary), Christian Science (Mary Baker Eddy), and divine Science (Martha)? Could all three be depicted in the illustrations of her book Christ and Christmas as Sharon’s Rose (which is depicted, in part, above in the first picture (after the flowers) and in my two circle matrix diagrams)? For this Christ and Christmas matrix, that I call Sharon’s Rose, correlates with the Rose window – Window of the Open Book on the South wall of the first Boston Edifice. And since the Concord Branch Church was built after the original Edifice in Boston the window described by Alice Orgain, I feel that it would have been based upon Window of the Open Book and that it has direct ties to it (if it still exists today).
Recently I have been reading books by Carl Gluck. He was healed in Christian Science, and knows about Mary Baker Eddy, yet he never took classes from an “authorized” teacher. This is okay by me, as I never have gone through class instruction either, but many things he writes are incorrect teachings of Christian Science (and I know of others who agree with me). In one book he wrote about the Bible, in it he does not even mention Christian Science or Mary Baker Eddy at all. There is nothing wrong with this, except that I think he was wrong not to mention Christian Science as a source material (and this is the only book I have read so far where he did this). His books were written in the first half of the twentieth century. Carl Gluck has his explanation for the STAR OF BETHLEHEM window in Mother’s Room. He feels that this window is more of a depiction of the Virgin Mary’s consciousness, which is how she conceived Jesus, and that she is the first measure of meal that Jesus spoke of that a woman placed leaven into, he writes that these three windows represent the three measures of meal that a certain woman placed leaven into. Ingeborg Tillisch Kelley, on the other hand, tells us that the three measures of meal are Life, Truth, and Love. This makes since to me, especially since Jesus’ mission took place during the Fifth Day of Life, Mary Baker Eddy’s mission took place during the Sixth Day of Truth, and Martha’s mission takes place during the Seventh Day of Love. Returning to Gluck, he believes that this Christ Mary’s virgin consciousness first appeared as the Virgin Mary, then she incarnated (not reincarnated) as Mary Baker Eddy, and that there was a third incarnation on November 15, 1915 of a Third Mary. If this is so, where is the Third Mary today? She would be 100 years old (in November 2015) and I have not heard one word out of her. There is no woman named Mary from California who has stepped forward to claim that she is Mary Baker Eddy incarnated. Carl Gluck explains that the Three Marys are the feminine representative of the Christ and that three men of the Bible were the masculine representative of Christ (Moses [if this were so how could Jesus speak to Moses on the Mount of Transfiguration?], Solomon [I see him as an imperfect example because he built temples to other gods for his many wives.], and Jesus). All together, as he puts it, there are a total of six measures of meal (3 masculine and 3 feminine). He explains that Mary, mother of Jesus, was one with her son, that together they represent man (male/female). He insists that since Jesus ascended in his third measure then Mary must ascend in her third measure. (He does not think that Mary Baker Eddy ascended. He believes that she died [which he calls the “first death”] and that when she leaves the conscious realm of the first death experience that she is reborn [incarnated in a material body] as the Third Mary [which he calls the “second death”].) Most certainly, Mary Baker Eddy explains the second death quite differently (as in Death and Resurrection)!
“Death and Resurrection
“The first death is the simple belief that matter has a beginning [that man is born as matter] and so must have an ending [that man dies because man is matter], that it goes out through sickness and age.
“The second death is the effort of sin – malicious animal magnetism – to kill us by putting out our sense of God. Jesus must have destroyed the simple belief of death time after time, but the cross where his sense of God crossed swords with evil – malicious animal magnetism – and for a moment faltered, was the overcoming of the second death, and as he had overcome the first death, the second hath no power. The second death is the effort of malice to rob us of our absolute faith and pure trust in an absolute good God.” (Essays and Bible Lessons Ascribed to Mary Baker Eddy with Repaid Pages; published by Rare Book Company pages 73 and 74; my interpolations)
Mr. Gluck also writes that the “untitled” illustration from Christ and Christmas (the seventh illustration) is a prophecy. On this point I agree with him because I saw it as prophecy long before I read his books. Mary Baker Eddy called the third panel window in Mother’s Room, although she did not put this title in her book, “SUFFER [PERMIT] THE CHILDREN [TO COME UNTO ME].” “ME” being the Christ, however, ME could also stand for Mary Eddy, for she is the scribe of the little open book seen in the hands of the angel-girl and in the center hub of Window of the Open Book. Seen below is Martha, she holds the little open book, however, its title is Science and Health Key to the Scripture, and there was no room to place the name of Mary Baker Eddy on its cover.
This illustration is what the third window in Mother’s Room was based upon. The center window panel (above) was based on the third illustration of Christ and Christmas SEEKING AND FINDING. Both illustrations have clocks in them. In the above illustration the Grandfather clock reads 5:05. This clock points us to Revelation 5:1-5 (this time taking into account the numbers of one through five on the clock’s face) which is about the Lamb unsealing the Bible (which is seen as a closed book sitting upon the table). The numbers 1-5 could also be representations of the five extra stars on the woman’s crown (Jesus held only seven stars in his right hand, on the side of the clock’s face with numbers 6-12). She (the spiritual idea – Lamb) accomplishes this feat, of unsealing the Bible, by opening up her Christian Science Textbook. It is a fact that Martha could not appear until after John W. Doorly and his first generation students came, for they opened up the Network (the squared) matrix system of the little open book, which is based upon the divine infinite calculus of the Word, the Christ, Christianity, and Science. In illustration 2, SEEKING AND FINDING, the Grandmother clock reads 12:05. This clock points us to Revelation 12:1-5 (this time taking into account the first five minutes of the hour) which is about the woman God-crowned. The face of the clocks are symbolic in that they represent the circular matrix structure of Mary’s Rose Window of the Open Book, with its twelve Stars (twelve Stargates) and twelve Keystones. It is also this space on the face of the clock that would be a union between Jesus’ seventh Star and Mary’s first Star (of the extra five Stars). (Notice the swirls above the serpent? These swirls are hidden serpents!)
When we look at Window of the Open Book we have the Woman God-crowned Keystone lining up with the time found on the Grandmother clock in SEEKING AND FINDING.
In SEEKING AND FINDING Mary Baker Eddy, who is the left leg (column) of the angel of Revelation 10, has her left hand upon her brow. This left hand with its five fingers symbolizes Mind’s active agents that uncover the sensory illusions of mortal mind (the hidden serpents) and its five senses. Her right hand is hidden and inactive, I feel that this is because the angel’s right leg (column) and hand are presented later on in Illustrations 7 and 10 as Martha. The angel represents Mary Baker Eddy’s manhood mission (Michael, the angel of Truth) and Martha Jones-Smith’s womanhood mission (Gabriel, the angel of Love). This idea is prefigured by the twin (intertwined) sisters known as Leah (Mother [Letter] of the Law) and Rachel (Mother [Letter] of the Spirit which is motivated by Love). This means that the angel has two different missions as two women Sentinels, first portrayed upon the Christian Science Sentinel in 1906. Mary Baker Eddy is speaking of her mission when she writes (S&H 559:6-8): “The angel’s left foot was upon the earth; that is, a secondary power was exercised upon visible error and audible sin.” Is it possible that she is speaking of Martha Jones-Smith’s mission when she asks (S&H 559:2-6): “Did this same book contain the revelation of divine Science, the ‘right foot’ or dominant power of which was upon the sea, – upon elementary latent error, the source of all error’s visible forms?”? It is clear that there are two powers (two angels, two Sentinels). The one dominant power exercised upon hidden error and a secondary power exercised upon visible error and audible sin. These two powers are the two arts of Christian Science – the prophylactic/preventative power (Third Degree of spiritual understanding) and the therapeutic/curative power (Second Degree in the moral). (See S&H 369) Yet, in the absolute/subjective (divine Science) there is only ONE power as found in Genesis 1, however, the secondary power is of importance in the relative/objective Second Degree, and this is why there is Christian Science (the level of Christian Science). When you look at the diagram below remember that Martha Jones-Smith is really generic man. It is also a fact that Mary Baker Eddy is generic man.
Of course, the Star that is seen in the illustrations of Christ and Christmas are drawn as stars with seven points of light. Is it possible that in this poem Mary Baker Eddy symbolizes Christian Science via the different Science and Health books while she symbolizes divine Science via the seven-pointed Stars? These seven-pointed Stars symbolize divine Science, the Morning Star. The Morning Star is another name for the planet Venus. There is a reason why Venus is shining down upon the woman Mary Baker Eddy and the girl Martha in these two illustrations. It is simply because there are two times during their God-crowned missions that Venus transits the sun (is clothed with the sun). There are two illustrations 3, SEEKING AND FINDING, and 6, CHRISTIAN SCIENCE HEALING, with Mary Baker Eddy (when she is not depicted with Jesus) where the Star (Venus) is shining down upon her. I strongly accept that Illustration 3 depicts the first transit of 1874 while illustration 6 depicts the second transit of 1882. Yet, what about the two illustrations where Mary is depicted with Jesus? In illustration 2, CHRIST HEALING, the Star is directly above Jesus and Mary’s resurrection (February 1866) is depicted. In illustration 9, CHRISTIAN UNITY, the Star is not visible (it is above) but its light shines down upon Mary Baker Eddy and Jesus. Likewise, the two illustrations (7 and 10) where Martha has the Star’s Light shining down upon her are like the pattern of 2 and 9. Illustration seven represents the year 2004 when Venus first transits the sun during the Seventh Day of Love, the Day for Martha’s God-crowned mission to take place. Illustration seven mirrors illustration three. In illustration three Mary has her open Bible and she is studying it, it is her “open book.” In illustration seven Martha has her open Science and Health and she is studying it, it is her “open book.” Even though the Bible is a closed book in illustration seven, because it sits next to the old man of scholastic theology, Martha comprehends the open Bible depicted in the Word as the Word Keystone in Window of the Open Book, for the open book of Science and Health opens up the Bible. What the “open books” mean is that they are “unsealed” that they are not bound by the seals of error (the red dragon’s seven hydra heads). In the tenth illustration TRUTH versus ERROR we do not actually see the Star, this matches up with the previous illustration of CHRISTIAN UNITY where the Star is shining down upon Jesus and Mary Baker Eddy, yet we do not see the Star itself (this is of importance). The Morning Star is also called the Evening Star. The Evening Star “traversed the night, and came where, in cradled obscurity, lay the Bethlehem babe, the human herald of Christ, Truth, who would make plain to benighted understanding the way of salvation through Christ Jesus, till across a night of error should dawn the morning beams and shine the guiding star of being. The Wisemen were led to behold and to follow this daystar [also a name for Venus] of divine Science, lighting the way to eternal harmony.” (S&H vii:5-12) Babe does refer to the child Jesus, and yet, babe also means “girl” or “woman.” Notice the Bible verse in SUFFER THE CHILDREN speaks of babes (“revealed them unto babes”). These two babes are Mary and Martha. And yet, there are also “babes” depicted in illustration ten as the girl-boy looking out the window at the Christ Stranger. SEEKING AND FINDING depicts the first transit of Venus during Mary Baker Eddy’s God-crowned mission and points to the angel of Revelation 10 (Michael), for she is clothed in a cloud (dark clothes). Mary’s mission may even be hid from her (clothed with a cloud) at this time. Even though the time on the clock is speaking about her place in Bible prophecy, the time is behind her and she does not yet see its meaning. Mary Baker Eddy represents the left column (leg) of the angel of Revelation 10, Michael. Martha is not in a dark cloud, or in a dark dress, in SUFFER THE CHILDREN. This is because Martha already has spiritual understanding because Mary Baker Eddy gave it to her via the Textbook (which is open). Martha represents the right column (leg) of the angel of Revelation 10, Gabriel. Mary Baker Eddy, as the angel, is called Michael (Truth), for he (she) comes during the Sixth Day of Truth while Martha, as the angel, is called Gabriel (Love), for his (her) mission begins during the Seventh Day of Love. This is understandable when symbols of the Tree of Life and Tarot are taken into consideration. The black sphere Binah (Understanding) is top of the column (leg) Pillar of Severity and the silver (or grey) sphere Chokmah (Wisdom) is top of the column (leg) Pillar of Mercy). There is also a center pillar called Kindness which is crowned with Kether – a white sphere. This is like the head of the woman in TRUTH versus ERROR as she basically is found standing between two pillars. The two stone pillars are symbolic of the two pillars in King Solomon’s Temple, and I just found out that Concord had two such pillars (directly below is a side view of a column that is similar to the two columns in TRUTH versus ERROR).
This card depicts a typification of the woman God-crowned (even though her crown is of the moon instead of twelve stars) and is similar to a statue of Isis, the Egyptian goddess (for the child is the Word [Torah] made flesh; also notice the two pillars of Solomon’s Temple).
Isis is one of the earliest typifications of the woman God-crowned. The following is from the book Signs & Symbols. Isis “was a protective deity exemplifying both the ideal woman and the divine mother. She is usually portrayed as a queen, wearing a cow-horned headdress (for the cow was sacred to her) symbolic of the moon, within which is set the solar disk [p. 30].” This is different then from the HIGH PRIESTESS, in that I think the round shape is supposed to represent a full moon. However, it is possible that Pamela Coleman Smith, artist of the Tarot cards, could have meant for the round center to be a sun disk. Under Star the book says, “In general terms, stars signify divine presence, but of less powerful deities than those of the ‘king’ and ‘queen’ of heaven, the Sun and the Moon. Female deities such as the Babylonian goddess Ishtar (whose emblem was an eight-pointed star [which to me symbolizes the Holy City of God]), the Phoenician Astarte, the Egyptian Isis or Christianity’s Virgin Mary (Stella Maris) are often represented with a crown of stars as queens of heaven. Because they light up the dark night sky, stars–“eyes of the night”–signify spiritual enlightenment and wisdom, as well as human aspiration…. [p. 91]” Of the Moon it says (same page), “In most cultures, the Moon was regarded as the regulator of natural cycles and time, the passive, feminine counterpart of the Sun. Thus it became a symbol of the lunar consorts of male solar deities. Moon mother-goddesses such as Astarte (Diana)–also known as Phoebe, Cynthia, Selene and Luna–and even Christianity’s Virgin Mary, all have the crescent moon as their attribute. …” Under Venus (same page) it reads: “The planet Venus–the Morning Star–is named after the Roman goddess of love and beauty, and the astronomical symbol [a circle (a crown?) on top of a cross] is believed to represent her necklace or mirror. The horizontal cross bar was added in the sixteenth century. …” Under Rainbow (page 93) the book says, “In Judeo-Christian tradition, God placed the rainbow in the sky after the Flood as a sign of deliverance and of God’s covenant with humanity. [Genesis never states that it was a rainbow, only that it was a bow in the cloud, it was just assumed that it was a rainbow, however, the angel of Revelation 10 is most definitely connected with the rainbow.] In medieval times, it thus also became an emblem of the Virgin Mary, signifying reconciliation. Christ is often depicted enthroned on a rainbow at the Last Judgment, so demonstrating both his heavenly power and his mercy. When portrayed in three colors, the rainbow signifies the Trinity. …” The goddess Iris is also associated with the rainbow, this includes the flower of iris or lily. On page 122 the book says that the iris “is an emblem of the sorrows of the Virgin Mary. The flower was named after the Greek goddess of the rainbow, to whom it was dedicated, and can therefore represent the bridge between God and man.” There is also the iris of the eye and it resembles a crown. Of the lily (same page) it says that it is a sign of the Virgin Mary “(and thus also with the Archangel Gabriel, who is portrayed holding a lily during the Annunciation), signifying chastity, …” The lily also is a symbol for Mary Magdalene. The dove, a symbol of love, and the swallow are attributed to Aphrodite (Venus). And Isis is connected to the swallow. If the dove is a symbol of love, and it also represents “divine Science” then is it possible that the dove of divine Science descends during the Seventh Day of Love as Gabriel?
What does Mary Baker Eddy say about the two feet belonging to the angel? First off, she asks us a question, “Did this same book [a little book that is open for all to read and understand – which is Science and Health] contain the revelation of divine Science, the ‘right foot’ or dominant power of which was upon the sea,–upon elementary, latent error, the source of all error’s visible forms?” (S&H 559:2-6) Is she telling us that the right foot is of a second woman-angel, the HIGH PRIESTESS who represents Love (a.k.a. Gabriel)? Continuing on she speaks about her own mission (the left foot). “The angel’s left foot was upon the earth; that is, a secondary power was exercised upon visible error and audible sin. The ‘still, small voice’ of scientific thought reaches over continent and ocean to the globe’s remotest bound. The inaudible voice of Truth is, to the human mind, ‘as when a lion roareth.’ It is heard in the desert and in dark places of fear. It arouses the ‘seven thunders’ of evil, and stirs their latent forces to utter the full diapason of secret tones. Then is the power of Truth demonstrated,–made manifest in the destruction of error.” (S&H559:6-16) These two feet are upon the red dragon’s two beasts that come up out of the earth and the sea. These two beasts are the red dragon’s twin agents. This red dragon’s nothingness “must be established on earth as well as in heaven. As the text of ‘the Apocalypse’ shows, this means, in practice, that divine Science [the BRANCH] and Christian Science [Mother’s Church – the two cities of Revelation 22] must be found to operate as one [Holy City].” (From Genesis to Revelation, by W. Gordon Brown, p. 364) “…Mind (heaven), is not come up out of the depths of the collective unconscious (sea).” (ibid) It is these two types of errors that the angel’s feet are standing upon, she has dominion over the two beasts. Christian Scientists must begin to understand that the real Mother Church is the Textbook – Science and Health Key to the Scriptures and that the Mother Church’s manchild is the BRANCH church, or the twelve Star Nations of divine Science – the readers of the Textbook. In other words, Martha Jones-Smith is not just one woman, even though it seems to take this one woman to point out these very facts to you (the woman who is knocking on the door), Martha Jones-Smith is also generic man, both Madonna and Child (girl-boy) – as depicted in TRUTH versus ERROR.
The dominant power is exercised upon hidden error (the sea, which could very well be the sea of astrology, which is the science of the invisible serpent; it is an important fact that there is no visible serpent seen in the Seventh Illustration, however, there are invisible serpents found above the closed Bible) while the secondary power is exercised upon visible error and audible sin (the earth, which could very well be the earth science called physiology, the science of the visible and audible serpent). The right foot is prophylactic, the preventative cure, which takes place subjectively, while the left foot is therapeutic, the curative cure, which takes place objectively. Yet both arts (columns, legs) “belong emphatically to Christian Science…” (S&H 369:24) So both have to do with the two angel missions. How does divine Science enter into the picture as Mary Baker Eddy asks us if Science and Health is divine Science? It must be that divine Science has to do with the woman God-crowned (with the second transit of Venus).
“True estimate of God’s messenger [angel] Heaven represents harmony, and divine Science interprets the Principle of heavenly harmony. The great miracle, to human sense, is divine Love, and the grand necessity of existence is to gain the true idea of what constitutes the kingdom of heaven in man. This goal is never reached while we hate our neighbor or entertain a false estimate of anyone whom God has appointed to voice His Word. Again, without a correct sense of its highest visible idea [which is Mary Baker Eddy], we can never understand the divine Principle [God]. The botanist must know the genus and species of a plant in order to classify it correctly. As it is with things, so it is with persons.” [My interpolations.] This right foot, the prophylactic, provides man continuous divine energy and impervious armor against animal magnetism. We must Love our neighbor, and we must not entertain any false estimate of Jesus Christ or Mary Baker Eddy (the angel). Today especially we must Love our Leader, for any false understanding about Mary Baker Eddy manifests as visible error and audible sin which prevents us from uncovering the kingdom of heaven within our own consciousness. We must totally accept that Mary Baker Eddy is the angel and the woman God-crowned. During the end of Mary Baker Eddy’s God-crowned mission the men of the church lusted for power. They secretly hid their lust for power from the Christian Science Field, whom they desired to have power over. When the board of directors took control over the Branch Churches it became a false leader, a false lamb of God, for a lamb does not have horns. Eventually the board became hypocritical of Mary Baker Eddy’s place in Bible prophecy. It was then that hatred for the woman and a false estimate of God’s angel went up throughout the Field. This is what Martha’s mission is really about. She comes to explain the Truth about Mary Baker Eddy and prove that loving her is not idolatry. Loving her is having a true estimate about her. The answer to prophylactic medicine is to love our neighbor and to love God’s messenger – Mary Baker Eddy, not her persona but her place in Bible prophecy as the woman God-crowned, and so far the Christian Science church goers have failed to comprehend this duty to their Leader. That is why Martha was sent, to wake up the Field and the world to who Mary Baker Eddy really is. Positively the Truth about Mary Baker Eddy was hidden, by her own self, in the three measures of meal, hidden in sacred secrecy and negatively, the truth about her has been hidden from the world and the Field by the Church hierarchy. This is why Mary Baker Eddy tells us the difference between the two missions of Michael and Gabriel in the Textbook.
“The Old Testament assigns to the angels, God’s divine messages, different offices. Michael’s characteristic is spiritual strength. He leads the hosts of heaven against the power of sin, Satan, and fights the holy wars. Gabriel has the more quiet task of imparting a sense of the ever-presence of ministering Love. These angels deliver us from the depths. Truth and Love come nearer in the hour of woe, when strong faith or spiritual strength wrestles and prevails through the understanding of God. The Gabriel of His presence has no contests. To infinite, ever-present Love, all is Love, and there is no error, no sin, sickness, nor death. Against Love, the dragon warreth not long, for he is killed by the divine Principle. Truth and Love prevail against the dragon because the dragon cannot war with them. Thus endeth the conflict between the flesh and Spirit.” (S&H 566:29-577:13)
If we look to the Gospel of St. John, it begins in the tone of the Word that is made flesh. This is a reminder that takes us back to the Gospel of St. Matthew with the Word being made flesh via the forty human generations leading up to Jesus, the forty-first generation, so that the Light – the Christ idea – could be manifested on earth. Then John (the dove, divine Science) the Baptist is brought into the narrative in order to baptize Jesus. So in the book of St. John, with the tone of Soul as Life (the Word), we begin with the objective (matter and the seen world). Then it will switch to the subjective (spiritual and the unseen universe) with the tone of Life as Soul (still in the tone of the Word even though the book of St. John is written to present the matrix structure of Science, the Golden Candlestick). The Lamb of God, the spiritual idea, comes to John (the objective flesh) in the tone of Soul as Life. John baptizes Jesus with the water. However, he says that Jesus will baptize man, not with water (the Word of the objective) but will baptize man with the Holy Spirit (the Word of the subjective). John, the mortal flesh man, is not the Light but he bares witness to the Light, he gives testimony to the Christ-Truth. John is the objective while Christ Jesus is the subjective. Later on John is beheaded by false government (matter force). This is repeated in Jesus’ crucifixion. The flesh (Jesus) is killed (crucified), but the Christ (Lamb) can never die nor does he ever loose his head (as our Master Shepherd). After Jesus is baptized the book proceeds to the subjective tone of Life as Soul, where Jesus is at the marriage in Cana. He turns the water (the therapeutic baptismal waters) into wine (fire water – or the prophylactic Holy Spirit). As the old saying goes, “An ounce of prevention [the prophylactic right foot = the aspect of divine Science] is worth a pound of cure [the therapeutic left foot = the effect of divine Science].”
“Wine: Inspiration; understanding.” (S&H 598:17) So with the wine comes the Third Degree of spiritual understanding.
Mary Baker Eddy explains: “The twelfth chapter of the Apocalypse [which speaks of the woman God-crowned], or Revelation of St. John, has a special suggestiveness in connection with the nineteenth century [when a little book open is written in 1875]. In the opening of the sixth seal [Revelation 6], typical [symbolic] of six thousand years since Adam, the distinctive feature has reference to the present age [the Sixth Day of Truth].” (S&H 559:32-560:5; [my interpolations])
Martha, on the other hand, is the angel Gabriel, for the Seventh Day of Love. The first transit of Venus during Martha’s life happened on June 8, 2004, this year was after the book The Da Vinci Code was published and before the book’s movie was produced. Its story hinted at the possibility that the feminine representative of the Christ had come. The seventh illustration of Christ and Christmas (seen above) depicts the time of the first transit of Venus during Martha’s mission. The Grandfather clock depicts the time of 5:05. This points us to Revelation 5:1-5, telling us about the Lamb, the spiritual idea of God. This Lamb opens (unlocks) the closed Bible (as seen on the table by the old man). It is Martha who has the little open book (the key) in hand and it is this key that opens up the closed Bible (that old theology has closed), this is why the Word as the Word Keystone, in Window of the Open Book, is the Open Bible, for the clock’s hands point to the section for the Word as the Word Keystone and the Science Keystones of Window of the Open Book (one that includes the Concord Grapevine [ Church = the city foursquare] Keystone).
The second transit of Venus for Mary Baker Eddy’s mission took place in the summer of 1882 (8 years after the first transit). This was around the time she began to hint in letters that she was the woman of the Apocalypse. The illustration that corresponds with this second transit is CHRISTIAN SCIENCE HEALING.
Her dress is white for she is clothed with the sun. However, her true identity is hid under the dark cloud of the angel. This illustration was drawn some ten years later and published December 2, 1893, the book is a Sagittarius or the Archer (see Revelation 19). Mary Baker Eddy published Christ and Christmas because she needed her students, especially those in charge of building The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, Massachusetts, to spiritually understand her place in Bible prophecy. Finally, after her Christ Church was built the illustration changed and her cloak, or robe, became a white cloud.
Likewise, there are two different illustrations for TRUTH versus ERROR. The first one, seen below, I now feel represents Mary Baker Eddy as the messenger of Truth (Michael) for it has the word TRUTH on the scroll (book). And I now feel like the second illustration for the tenth illustration depicts Martha’s God-crowned mission that corresponds to the second transit of Venus on June 5, 2012. She is the messenger of Love (Gabriel) for the scroll no longer has the word TRUTH on it. Mary Baker Eddy connected Illustration 1 and Illustration 10 together via her graphic design in the first editions. This means that the Star of Bethlehem (divine Science) in the first illustration is the Star of Boston (the woman) depicted below. But after the graphic type was changed and became consistent the changes for Illustration 10 (also to Illustration 6 – CHRISTIAN SCIENCE HEALING and Illustration 11 – THE WAY) were made. My reasoning for the woman knocking on the door as being twins is backed up by Kelley when she writes about the light around the woman’s head. She claims that in the earlier illustrations that the light is a crown (I have to investigate this further). She says, “The crown of light surrounding the individual’s head in the original illustration (1893) was a crown of stars [this would be for the woman God-crowned – Mary Baker Eddy]; but since it represents all mankind [generic man – Martha] at this stage of our Christianity Journey, Mrs. Eddy changed it to a halo in 1897. Now as ‘the new story of Christ’ translates divine Science as divine cybernetics, a cross or a crown is no longer needed to BE the ‘new thing’, self-revealed.” [My interpolations.]
I think that the girl, who is embracing the boy, is the same girl from illustration 7. However, she is clothed in black (with a grey collar) a mortal-human coincidence. Together the boy and girl represent the Branch Church of Mother’s Church. In the illustration (above) the girl/boy is witness to the appearance of Mary Baker Eddy’s woman God-crowned mission in 1988 while the illustration (below) the girl/boy is witness to her own womanhood mission as Mother Hood, which is revealed to her in 2011. In the first drawing it is the girl’s own recognition of Mary Baker Eddy’s God-crowned mission, Mary’s Christ Mind that is knocking upon the door of mortal mind. This door depicts six squares. I see these six squares as representing the six days of creation spoken of in Genesis 1. Each day is like a thousand years unto the Lord. Martha was born during the tail end of the Sixth Day of Truth. However, Martha has a long way to go, for even though she left Church organization she still feels held captive inside the physical body of Adam (the Adam dream). Will she accept the TRUTH (the woman’s written Word) about her own God-crowned mission? It is important to understand that we can not be a successor to the woman Mary Baker Eddy unless we follow in her spiritual footsteps, for she is our Leader. The following quote is written by an unknown author, one paragraph from his piece on Prosperity and the Prodigal. I feel that it helps explain the real Martha mission quite well. For it means that I am not Martha Jones-Smith alone, but that we all are (as generic man) Martha Jones-Smith. (The author makes some mistakes in his typing, his use of initials for Mary Baker Eddy with the title of a book [also the title should be italicized], and his use and non-use of capital letters, I have copied it as he wrote it.)
“…“Mrs. Eddy once said that the reason ‘church Scientist[s] do not demonstrate supply is because they consider themselves man (effect, image, manifestation, reflection) instead of God (Mind).’” P. 80 MBE Reveals Your Divinity by Helen Wright. There is not God and something else; there is only God, expressed as Mind, Spirit, Soul, Principle, Life, Truth and Love expressing Itself as you. “Principle and its idea is one” Science and Health p. 465:17 There is nothing else happening. This you that is the Only is Generic Man, revealed by Mary Baker Eddy, the human appearing of The Woman of the Apocalypse. As Mary Baker Eddy is so you are, what you realize about Mrs. Eddy you become yourself. The book held by The Woman standing in the Sun is “Science and Health with key to the scriptures” by Mary Baker Eddy. This book is the written expression of Generic Man as you. Understanding ourselves as Generic Man in the 3rd degree expresses itself in our experience in the 2nd degree bringing harmony to man. “Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine” Luke 15:31 You cannot return home by any other pathway other than that which Mary Baker Eddy has prepared for you and runs to meet you as your Mother, while you were yet a long way off and fell on your neck and kissed you. She put the best robe on you, the ring on your hand and the shoes on your feet. Your prosperity is the Divine Infinite Calculus and its infinite expression of Generic Man and not matter. We are never out of Mrs. Eddy’s demonstration.”
It is interesting that the door seems to have two connecting crosses on it. The cross with the door plate of MORTAL MIND is connected to the bottom of the door (like the ground) while the second cross is hire. These two crosses remind me of the two crosses in the second illustration for THE WAY (the 11th illustration seen below).
It is an aspect of Martha’s mission to expose the false way that is the black cross of material organized church; she must bring forth the truth that the man known as THE BRANCH must be Independently governed by Principle (the divine infinite calculus), not by a Board of Directors (personal sense). As mentioned earlier, there is a second drawing of TRUTH versus ERROR. In it certain things are changed. I feel that the first illustration depicts the tail end of the Sixth Day of Truth while the second illustration depicts the head beginning of the Seventh Day of Love, as the door depicts a Christ Vine representing THE BRANCH that must will gain its independence from SMotherhood. In the second door the six squares are changed to two clusters of Concord Grapevines. This means that the woman is knocking upon the conscious thought of the BRANCH which in the Seventh Day is dominated by Roman Catholicism (that is negatively symbolized by the black and white square tile pattern) – a SMother Church. The woman knocking on the door (directly below) is the Lamb’s wife (see S&H 577:4-11). This woman is the our Leader Mary Baker Eddy, yet does she have a twin sister? Is this why there are two different drawings for TRUTH versus ERROR; that Mary Baker Eddy’s mission took place during the Sixth Day (as seen on the door with its six squares) while the door in the second drawing is of the Christ-vine Branch? Is this why the word of Truth is missing from the scroll in the second drawing? Ingeborg Tillisch Kelley says that the scroll (and I tend to believe that she is speaking of the second scroll) is an “impersonal message as the revelation of Womanhood, is Love, typed by her nameless and boundless scroll which goes beyond Truth as the City foursquare [depicted in the first illustration for TRUTH versus ERROR] to boundless love as the ‘City of our God'[depicted in the second illustration for TRUTH versus ERROR].” [My interpolations.]The second transit of Venus took place on June 5, 2012, the very same day that Martha began this web site of Ark of Truth – Mother’s Hood. She speaks the TRUTH about Mary Baker Eddy to the world in order to reverse the error (the red dragon’s tricks) that has darkened the earth with its big coverup of the woman’s true identity (which began in the Garden of Eden when Adam error misidentified the woman as Eve – the first mother of matter-man). As spoken of already, in the second illustration for TRUTH versus ERROR the door is different. It no longer has six squares but depicts the living vine of Christ (the Vineyard of Concord Grapes). The city foursquare is symbolized by the Branch Church – the First Church of Concord, New Hampshire. Kelley says that Alice Orgain reports that this Branch church has square tiles and two pillars like the ones depicted in this drawing. Whether these tiles and pillars are still present I cannot say.
The doorplate no longer reads MORTAL MIND, but proves to be inverted MINd, for this is the word one reads when the illustration is turned upside down (inverted). So what is inside the Branch Church is now understood to be inverted mind. This depicts the spiritual progression made from the Sixth Day (with its mortal minded belief that mankind needs to spiritually progress through the time period of six thousand years before they can become immortal) to the Seventh Day (with its spiritual understanding that mortal mind is simply animal magnetism (inversion); there is no more time needed for man to spiritually progress for he is perfect and eternal NOW, so material organization must be cast aside). The woman’s scroll no longer reads TRUTH but none-the-less stands for TRUTH, for also when the illustration is looked at upside down, the side of the scroll depicts the number 6 for TRUTH (but this has always been the case). This woman still stands upon a square rug, a symbol of divine Science – the city foursquare (S&H 575:19). I point out that these Stargates are gates, one may enter or exit as they please, so even though we may think that the city foursquare pins us in with four walls this is not so, we have our freedom. We can choose to exit church the same way that the sheep in CHRISTMAS MORN can leave their grazing land if they choose because the fence is open. In Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, the city foursquare is described before the city of our God – Christian Science. This is of importance because of the two Sentinels placed upon the Christian Science Sentinel by Mary Baker Eddy in September 1906. She demanded that the cover of the Sentinel be light blue. Why would she do this? She did it in order to tie the periodical to Christ and Christmas which also had a light blue cover on its early editions. There are only two women depicted in Christ and Christmas who are wearing old fashioned clothing as found on the two Sentinels — the two women found in TRUTH versus ERROR and CHRISTIAN UNITY. What also ties these two illustrations together is the fact that we do not see the actual Star in either illustration, but we see the Light from the Star and the women have halos of light (as does Jesus). Of all the halos Mary Baker Eddy’s halo is the brightest and Martha’s halo is the lesser light of the three. The scrolls in the two illustrations are represented as the Sentinel’s two lamps.
Because the above illustration is hard to read I have broken it up into three sections (below) for you.
Jesus said that the Christ is the door, so the true symbol of the door in TRUTH versus ERROR is that it represents the Christ, even if the doorplate reads as mortal mind and inverted mind. This can easily be explained if Carl Gluck is correct in what he says, that it was the Christ, who is also called Lord (not God) in the Scriptures, who created the material world (God created only Spirit). To put it another way, the God of Genesis 1-2:3 created Spirit while the Lord God, the Christ (a godlike man), of Genesis 2:6 onward, created Adam man and the material world. CHRISTIAN UNITY is the only circle illustration, and because of this I can honestly say that it represents Christian Science, the city of our God (S&H 577:18) because of its “cardinal points” (S&H 577:13). Plus, the woman’s scroll reads “CHRISTIAN SCIENCE”. “The Apocalypse” chapter describes the city foursquare with four Major Stars – as depicted in Window of the Open Book, which is also circular. If chords were drawn between all four Major Stars you would get a square shape which represents the Word’s squared-cycle. Seen below in the Window are the Four Major Stars which are the Word as the Word (seen next to the Open Bible Keystone), the Word as the Christ (seen next to the Madonna and Child Keystone), the Word as Christianity (seen next to the Southern Cross of Calvary Keystone), and the Word as Christian Science (seen next to the Golden Shores of Love Keystone).
After going full circle (from the Word as the Word with the Open Bible Keystone) in a counterclockwise order (Venus moves counterclockwise) we wind up at the twelfth Keystone, the Big Dipper Keystone (Christianity as Science).
Notice that each Star, in the Big Dipper Keystone, is a Star of Bethlehem flower, exactly like the ones found in Mother’s Room. Why do we find these Star-Flowers here? I think it is because each of the Star-Flowers symbolize one of the seven days, or 7,000 years, that woman is charged (given her God-crowned mission) to bring forth the spiritual ideal – the Christ man. This constellation symbolizes the Christ chain, or the Christ link throughout human history that follow the pattern given in Genesis 1-2:3. However, I feel that the Star-Flowers symbolize the feminine representative of the Christ during the Seven Days. The Star-Flowers ascend upward from Mind (the woman, mother of Seth’s Christ lineage, who Adam falsely identified as being Eve, the first mother of mortal man – Cain) to Spirit (Noah’s wife, mother of the Three Degrees son), Soul (Sarah, mother of the Christ tone with Isaac), and Principle (Queen Esther “Star” savior of her people) – which is just a touch hire than Soul’s Star-Flower. Then the Christ descends from Heaven in the Fifth Day of Life as the Virgin Mary who spiritually conceives Jesus Christ. Jesus, the masculine representative of Christ, is on an equal human plane – one with his Womanhood – Christ Mary Baker Eddy, the feminine representative of Christ, for the Sixth Day of Truth. Then Womanhood finds that it must ascend back (must be caught) up to heaven during the Seventh Day of Love. It is the two Star-Flowers for the Sixth and Seventh Days of (Truth and Love) that point us directly back to the North Star (the Word as the Word) which is outside the Open Bible Keystone. The reason why Window of the Open Book has the title it does is because in its center hub is the little open book that the angel of Revelation 10 descended with. She has the [rain]bow consciousness of the seven synonymous terms for God – Mind, Spirit, Soul, Principle, Life, Truth, and Love.
Returning to the angel’s two feet, in the above diagram Martha’s right foot is seen. Yet on the right side we see that the united Jesus and Mary both have their left feet showing (actually, only Jesus’ toes are exposed). However, you can also see portions of Martha’s left foot (her toes) and Mary Baker Eddy’s right foot (her toes). One cannot deny that Jesus and Mary Baker Eddy are united as the angel of Truth, Michael, because of their left feet (the secondary curative power of Christ) are seen. It is the angel of Love, Gabriel, that shows her right foot, for she heals humanity by explaining to mankind the true estimate and the correct sense of Mary Baker Eddy. It was on April 18, 2015, 10:30 a.m., that Martha and Michael met as one. (END)
THE ARK KEYSTONE
In The First Church of Christ Scientist in Boston, Massachusetts, is the closed off Mother’s Room. At the head of the building is a painted window that I call… ‘TIS THE SAME HAND THAT WRITES THE PAGE (on a picture, that is from a C. S. P. S. publication, they said that the border of the window reads SEEKING AND FINDING, but I cannot find these words on the window).
The center window (in the east) is based upon the third illustration – SEEKING AND FINDING – of Christ and Christmas, however, the two are slightly different. In the window there is no serpent, and Mary’s pose is completely different. She is not reading from her Bible, but holds her pen in hand (T’is the same hand that writes the page.) and both of her hands are seen. Also she is looking at the Star-Flower. I put forth then, that the illustration (seen below) represents the year 1874 while the window represents the year 1882. These are the two years that Venus (the Morning Star) traversed the sun (was clothed with the sun). Could there also be a hidden reason why Mary Baker Eddy is looking at the Star-Flower?
Above her, in the window, is the Christian Science Seal with its divine calculus commands for us to HEAL THE SICK – RAISE THE DEAD – CLEANSE THE LEPERS – CAST OUT DEMONS. Inside is a cross and crown. The crown appears to have five stars on top of it, even though it could have more, they could just be hidden behind the other five stars. However, the five could be significant in that the woman has five more Stars in her crown (in Revelation 12) than Jesus does in his hand (in Revelation 1). The cross is of interest, as I depict the t cross to symbolize the city of our God for Christian Science, while I use the X (which is found inside the cross) to symbolize the city foursquare. Both combine, along with New Jerusalem (the artichoke sunflower) to form the Holy City’s Matrix.
While looking at the picture, taken from outside the Church, I noticed that there was a keystone shape at the top of the window. I realized that there were three letters inside of this keystone that read K – R A. The letter K is symbolic of Leo, the first constellation sign for the divine calculus, where the Lion represents the Word. RA is the sun god of Egypt. Ra, or Re, is depicted as a right eye (for the sun) while the Eye of Horus (the left eye) was symbolic of the moon. The left eye and eyebrow denoted strength and power, protection against evil. Although this is all interesting, is it really what the Keystone is telling us?
Because I knew that this window was backwards I reversed the letters (even though reading them from inside Mother’s Room they would actually be backward letters) I realized that they spelled the word ARK (AR – K). Obviously this was done on purpose, either by man or by God. It just seems to be coincidental that you have the word ARK inside the Keystone’s ARCH (where the Letter of the Law and the Spirit of the Law are one). This made me think of the Keystone Arch stone found upon the Immanuel Arch outside of Mother’s Room.
Inside this Keystone is a circle – symbolizing “UNITY”. I also find it interesting that directly below this Keystone, above the door to Mother’s Room, is the word LOVE. We also find this same symbol in other places of the original Edifice. One of these places is inside Mother’s Room on the fireplace mantel.
…Of course, there is also the circle of the Christian Science Seal itself. Another place is in the North Gallery Windows (one that was changed in 1994 to have a Church Manual inside of it; changing the window was an act of the red dragon). Oddly, this particular window is ignored in the latest edition of Armstrong’s book Building of The Mother Church, published by the Christian Science Publishing Society. It was ignored, or left out of the book, on purpose. This blank circle may symbolize the fact that a Christian Scientist must become a total transparency of Truth and Love (a Vitruvian Man), this enables us to become the third angelic advent of Christ.
…There is also a white circle in the Second Mary Window – Mary Anointing the Head of Jesus. Mary holds in her right hand a white round piece of cloth to anoint Jesus’ head.
…The two Rose Windows are basically circular. But, there is yet another place where this circle is found and that is the face of the clocks found upon the two clocks in Mother’s Room. In an old picture I have from the 1990’s the time in the Grandmother clock reads 12:05 like the clock in SEEKING AND FINDING. Yet, the same clock in a later picture seems to have no time on the face. This could be because the picture is slightly over exposed. On the face of the Grandfather clock the time seems to be slightly different from the time on the Grandfather clock in the seventh illustration of Christ and Christmas which reads 5:05.
There is only one illustration in Christ and Christmas that is circular, it is CHRISTIAN UNITY. In it we see that Jesus Christ is united (wedded to) Mary Baker Eddy. This does not mean that they were married by human or mortal law, but they were united in their holy missions. Jesus is the father of Christianity while Mary Baker Eddy is the mother of Science. Together, as the scroll reads, the two united is Christian Science.
This illustration presents the first and second advents of Christ as the masculine and feminine representatives. Yet there is to be a third advent. Mary Baker Eddy spoke of the third advent of Christ and it was Mary Baker Eddy who gave the third advent the name of Martha. In Essays and Bible Lessons and Other Footprints Fadeless (by Mary Baker Eddy but not printed by the Christian Science Publishing Society) on pages 47-49 is “The Second Advent.” I will not quote the whole thing as I have it written in other posts, but I will point out certain things that I feel relate to this particular post. She speaks of the Virgin Mary, “Mary as the mother of Jesus became the first scientific interpreter of the Christ idea,” next she speaks of herself “of Mary [Baker Eddy] as the highest interpreter of man and God,” and finally of Martha, “of [generic] man as woman which represents God’s highest manhood.” (p. 47; [my interpolations]) And it is because of this statement that I feel like we can attribute the Star-Flower in the window of THE STAR OF BETHLEHEM to be symbolic of the Virgin Mary and why there are also Star-Flowers in the other two panel windows of Mother’s Room.
Over on page 48 she says, “What is the second coming of Christ? It is another era of the world’s awakening, a higher advent in human consciousness of the spiritual idea, the true character of God. This idea of God neither comes nor goes, for it is inseparable from its divine Principle, the ever-present I am. But the human concept of this idea has its periods of light and shade.
“Christian Scientists are not Second Adventists believing in the finite appearing of finite good. Every loyal Scientist understands that the second coming of Christ is the next higher, hence, more spiritual revelation of God’s character. The Christian era presented the first tangible idea of God’s character by its inspired man, Jesus. The era of Christian Science ushers in through woman the second appearing of His character and this from the necessity of His nature as the Father and Mother of all, the creator, even the complete and ever-present idea of God. Therefore, this era comes not through Jesus but through Mary [Baker Eddy], the type of womanhood and mother of its first and forever appearing which divine Science alone can give.” [My interpolation.] Let me stop here for now. Is she really saying, like Carl Gluck has been saying in his books, that the Virgin Mary was later incarnated as Mary Baker? No, she says “the type of womanhood and mother” so she is saying that it is the type of consciousness that the Virgin Mary had in order to conceive Jesus that she (Mary Baker) too is one with, this consciousness being of divine Mind. I also feel that this type of consciousness is what she applied to her two women Sentinels – “a noble type of good heroic womanhood”.
She continues, “The third appearing of the spiritual idea of the character of God [the third advent of Christ] will present but the disappearing of all else, and establish the supremacy of Spirit which obliterates the human sense of the divine, takes away all sense of matter and reveals the final fact that the idea, Christ, is not a materialized or finite man or woman, but is the infinite concept of infinite Mind.” [My interpolation.]
Then over on page 49, the last paragraph, she says, “All this is not the material Jesus, nor Mary, nor Martha, but the spiritual idea dwelling forever in the bosom of the Father-Mother God, because this idea is the link in being’s chain which unites indissolubly the father and son, man and God. The on-rushing centuries are declaring this idea higher and higher in the scale of being and will ere long yield to the sense of its ascendant glory.” So, “All this is not material Jesus, nor Mary [Baker Eddy], nor Martha [Jones-Smith, even though it seems as if] the spiritual idea dwelling forever in the bosom of the Father-Mother God [comes to Earth manifested as a material Jesus, Mary Baker Eddy, and Martha Jones-Smith], because this [spiritual] idea is the [Christ] link in [divine] being’s chain which unites indissolubly the father [probably should be Father] and son, man and God.” [My interpolations.]
What was contained in the Ark of the Covenant? There was manna (What is it?), there were the two stone tablets for the Law – the Ten Commandments, and there was Aaron’s rod. These three items represented Life, Truth, and Love. Christ Jesus was the manna – the bread and the Life, Mary Baker Eddy fulfilled the Letter of the Law given by Moses (the Ark of the Covenant) by living the Spirit of the Law (the Arch of the Covenant), and Martha Jones-Smith holds Aaron’s Rod of divine Science which buds and blooms into ShAaron’s Rose Matrix which is the Holy City itself (seen below; not to be confused with Sharon’s Rose Matrix which is based upon Christ and Christmas).
